Didn't really think about it until now but it'd make a lot of sense for hurtboxes to be prioritized the same way hitboxes are.

Yes this is how hurtboxes work.

In Melee I've heard that hurtboxes had innate coding that made them invulnerable to certain kinds of hitboxes. For example, an arm hurtbox or leg hurtbox may have been ungrabbable during certain moves or actions. It's a shame Smash 4 doesn't have that detail.

Dair and Uair are Link's only really deceptive moves because their 'poking' animations. He always had fat hitbubbles that extend out the sides of his sword more than Marth's to partially make up for not arching his slashes but it's rare that the visible sword doesn't touch too.

I hate fighting online Links so much because of his Dair. Uair could work a smaller hitbox like in Melee's if it was much, much faster to compensate for its short, horizontal range. Still, it's fairly average in startup and the disjoint's not that large, but Dair... Either it becomes a pogo stab that's stupidly fast, but weak and has no range like a Zelda II or it stays as is as this slow, telegraphed finisher like in Twilight Princess onward. Technically Wind Waker, but Link only uses that in the last boss fight against Ganon. At the same time, its disjoint stays true to Zelda II. I'm pretty sure his downthrust in Zelda II was heavily disjointed. Gotta be true to the sources, right?

Every time I see Bastion, I head read it as "bast-tee-en" which is apparently how British people pronounce it -- British pronunciation is closer to French pronunciation of "bast-tee-ohn" -- instead of "bast-chen" like a United Statesian after watching TotalBiscuit's video on Bastion a while back. It's weird, but it happens. One day, when I replay Kingdom Hearts 1 or 2, I'll end up going to "how-low bast-tee-en" instead of "how-low bast-chen". It'll be fun times... Freaking wooden sword in KH1.

I've always thought Greninja was good. Watching iStudying and Waveguider play solidified it for me.

Honestly I've been feeling conflicted on Greninja lately considering that outside of Beast VI iStudying hasn't really gotten very good results at majors and he's the best player of the character so far which doesn't really help Greninja's case.

Still think he's a good and viable character though, if Greninja does end up being mid tier then that would mean a lot for this game's balance.

Afternoon girls. How's everyone doing?

Got myself some new shoes today, which are skechers and they feel SOOO comfortable! <3 (They're blue and have memory foam for the sole of the shoe. So nice!) Also, I got through Chapter 18 in Birthright with relative ease, seriously; Leo was a joke, and so were the Faceless too. Buuuut if I did stay on that Chapter for a while, it may have been a great grinding area for getting other units like Sakura to 20 and get her to change class.

I also saw Episode 8 of Sakamoto Desu Ga? and Episode 10 of Ace Attorney.

Sakamoto was still damn funny. He was on the run from other students who wanted to catch him for a 10,000 Yen reward. Bayonetta is proud of you Sakamoto.

I did like some of the jokes and all, which were pretty funny and enjoyable too.

Ace Attorney on the other hand, it did stay close to this part where Wright questions Yanni Yogi and Larry Butz about the case at Gourd Lake. Next week we'll have Wright question Polly! : D

There was only one change I caught onto from watching this episode:
- Wright & Maya see Manfred von Karma leave the precinct with a parcel.

Other than that, it was better paced and all. But eh, this is probably the best Ace Attorney will get. Okay-ish.

It would require a constitutional amendment, for one thing. Our congress can barely agree on a annual budget in today's climate, much less get the type of unity it would require to remove a section of our Bill of Rights, regardless of one's opinion on the matter.

For another it's arguable how much that would help, if any. The CDC were commissioned to do a study after Sandy Hook by presidential order back in 2013. The results were so contrary to what gun-control advocates were hoping for they cut all funding for further research and everyone seems to just pretend that report never happened.

While serious, they lost me once they started diagnosing her with specific mental disorders. Random idiots on the internet should never be allowed to diagnosis themselves or others, mental or not, especially when most people's idea of psychology is from watching reruns of House and The Mentalist. Especially an idiot diagnosing someone as a ****ing sociopath of all things, which pretty much shows they really have no idea what they're doing if they think that that's helping anyone involved.

I know some of you are pre-college, so it goes double for you gorls with the people you may end up meeting; see if your college has mental health services as part of the general student health infirmary or whatever the school is calling it. There's only so much you can do for someone as a friend, and if you feel they need it over just a friendly ear, request they go, even if it's just handing them the number and telling them to think about it.

There's no stigma is needing someone to talk to about your problems, just like there's no stigma if you take your car to a mechanic if your brakes are making weird noises.

Given that this is Cardcaptors of all shows, it may be a full on reboot, like a lot of other iconic shows have gotten some variation of, like Dragonball Z and Sailor Moon.

And, I mean, they're only in middle school now. The themes will probably be relatively the same. All Clamp titles pretty much have the same theme anyway, they just differ in context and where it lands on the cynic-to-optimistic scale.

1) There is no boundary that can prevent love.

2) Not all love will be mutual, nor can love overcome all obstacles.

Cardcaptors was always incredibly optimistic with this, as opposed to Magical Knight Rayearth with it's plot twist and climax.

Yukito and Tomoyo are good examples of what I'm talking about. Pretty much everyone loves Yukito, regardless of age or sex. Tomoyo will always love Sakura with all her heart, but (not-unkindly) knows that it will never be reciprocated.

True. There have been some excellent reboots, like Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood as an example, and same goes with Kanon, that actually had a reboot (Kind of). First one looked horrifying, the other is the one we know today by KyoAni.

And then you got some bad reboots, sadly; the only bad reboots I can think of are Western ones; ones like Powerpuff Girls (2016) for example.

I honestly think the filler episodes they made with the original cards did help expand on the world, and gave the Book of Clow tons more variety and differentiate each card from another, giving them different personalities and what not.

I have a problem with people who aren't doctors diagnosing people with mental disorders. It's a very fickle thing to classify do to how bizarre and dynamic the human mind is.

This is not how you address a person who could potentially be mentally ill.

Being labeled as a sociopath is a big ****ing deal. A social disorder in a woman her age is very hard to treat. Near impossible, even.

What they should've done is PRIVATELY gotten Kiwi to visit a REAL therapist, not just ban her from all your tourneys and label her (with yo no psychology major havin' ass) as a mentally disturbed sociopath. There is no need to get everyone in the smash community involved. Now she will be labeled as "crazy" and will have to deal with this mental health stigma for the rest of her life, even if a doctor says she isn't a sociopath.

It doesn't appear to be a single time in this process where they seemed to try to attend to Kiwi's well being as well. All they're doing is making the situation worse.

If I'm reading this correctly, how the hell do you monetize licensed music that does not belong to you at all? Capcom, Nintendo, Square Enix, etc., would be seriously pissed off someone was making money off of their work like that. With action, whoever took over is going to have tons of lawsuits on their hands. Great job, idiot. Then again, there are people who straight up copy content, don't change anything, and upload it for no reason like this one dude who uploaded GameXplain's videos on his own, obscure channel for absolutely no reason. You're not going to make money. If anything, you're going to lose money or be in jail for copyright infringement or theft.
