Can't tell if I like or dislike Zant in Hyrule Warriors. He's pretty different and seems to clear rooms and rack up kill count really efficiently, but he seems to either leave himself wide open with his combo moves or just do nothing for damage. C3's been a go-to since it's mostly safe, but it does no damage and I have a habit of getting smacked by officers when he hops off the totem pole. Took a few attempts to A rank his Lv☆ mission because I kept going over 4000 damage taken.

Spin2win and his meter gain are really good though. Both stomp combos are really good at keep clearing when there aren't officers that are just going to armor through and hit me.

Dunno, I think Bowser can work fine as a final boss. They did it well with the first Paper Mario.

I think every other Mario RPG has had him in more of a comic relief "I think I'm relevant but I'm really not" role of some sort, though. Then again I've only played PM64/SMRPG/Superstar Saga as far as Mario RPGs go, and am somewhat familiar with TTYD/PiT's plotlines.

The Paper Mario series has been dead to me since Super Paper Mario reared its ugly head. This new game looks bad and I doubt I'll pick it up.

TTYD (and PM64 to a lesser degree) is still one of my favorite games ever, though.

Paper Mario - Dammit Nintendo, I know that we all want a new Paper Mario in the style of TTYD. But one in the style of Sticker Star... (It looks very pretty though)

could care less about style, there's nothing wrong with how it looks. In fact the art style is rather nice and colorful, problem would be if it's devoid of plot/cast, since mario could never carry a game's plot himself. Still not getting my hopes high, however the announcement was really vague.

Star Fox is looking really nice and I'm fairly hyped for it now. Star Fox Guard looks interesting too.

I don't really care for the Mario and Sonic games, though that intro was nice.

Lost Reavers looked okay.

Paper Mario: Color Trash looked nice graphically, but I hate how it seems eerily similar to Sticker Star. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt anyway.

I don't care about Twilight Princess HD, so no comment there.

The My Nintendo stuff reminds me that I still need to make a My Nintendo account.

Mini Mario & Friends amiibo Challenge: Another ruined Mario spin-off series.

Being serious, I don't like how Nintendo is basing so many games around amiibo now. Since I'm a fan of the series,I'm still going to give the game a try though.

Looks like that SNES Virtual Console on 3DS thing ended up being true. While this doesn't particularly interest me, atleast we're FINALLY getting more 3DS VC, and it seems like a lot of people are hyped for this, so good on them.

I just find it funny how we get SNES games on 3DS before GBA games. :V


I don't care about Pocket Card Jockey, Azure Striker Gunvolt 2, FE Fates, Hyrule Warriors Legends, Disney Art Academy, Bravely Second, Dragon Quest 7, or Monster Hunter Generations, so I won't talk about them either.

I'm probably the only guy who never hated Federation Force, mainly because I was never into the Metroid series. I have medium hopes for the game. After all, it might end up being an okay game.

Rhythm Heaven Megamix looks good, but I'll pass.

Kirby Planet Robobot looks like Kirby Double Deluxe.

The robot stuff looks neat, but I hope the make the experience more memorable than the last game outside of that. It looks really similar to Triple Deluxe at the moment. The new sub-game looked pretty cool though. I'm loving those Kirby amiibo too. I'm super hyped for the return of the Smash ability.

I don't think giving a rating is particularly smart for something so subjective. Some people are very hype for games you don't care about, you know, so that rating would likely rile them up unnecessarily.

Sticker Star's mechanics can honestly be easily fixed: just don't make EVERYTHING disposable (maybe some kind of cooldown, that way there's still merit in buying multiples) and don't make boss weaknesses incredibly specific and cryptic.
I have a suspicion that the cooldown idea is a thing, considering the amount of cards carried seems far less than the amount of stickers before.

I just had a look at the Japanese Nintendo Direct.

And they got a few games announced over there. Like Terraria and Shovel Knight. And some interesting ones like Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3, Puzzle & Dragons, a Bon Festival Tournament for Splatoon, Yo-kai Watch crossover with Koei Tecmo and even Culdecept... and a Fire Emblem Trading Card Game.

PXZ2 is a lot better in my opinion with the characters. There's some more timing to getting the continuous combos, better choices of characters as well. (Thank god Mii and Koguro got removed, didn't like them at all. Wright & Maya however I welcome with open arms. <3)

Makes me actually appreciate the game for what it is

Despite tripping and that bull **** and Meta Knight... and Ice Climbers to a lesser degree

Dedede was the most degenerate character in that game just because of how easy it was to shut characters down. MK and ICs are worse at high level but when a player's main gets 100% blocked by a strategy that takes almost no time to lab? Ew. Like, I don't think Bowser lost that hard to Dedede outside of the chaingrab (Bowser also had a theoretical chaingrab on most characters). Optimal Olimar was also pretty dumb.

I miss Brawl sometimes though. I miss my pivot walking taunts and DACUS. But hey, you can still run in place at the ledge. That's something.

Wolf would have been much more viable if Brawl Dedede wasn't a factor. I'd like to say Link too but that's not really true.
A pet peeve of mine is when people pronounce his name Dadayday. The announcer says his name and it's spelled how it sounds.

Take out MK and the Ice Climbers and you had a pretty good tournament scene.

Rizen it's Daydayday in Japanese. Better than Omni's "Rye-you" either way.
