Corrin is really fun. I think if her recovery were just slightly better I might be switching mains, but frame 18 upB with disjoint to the sides instead of above and subpar distance is the difference between main and secondary. NeutralB, sideB, aerials, tilts, dsmash, kill throws are all love. Counter is way overrated imo, but still really good for a counter. Fsmash also kind of overrated, but it might just be that I don't use it well.

Corrin Fsmash is way overrated, what's totally better is the SideB. That makes me wet every time I get a tipper from that. Also every time I get a Dair tech-chase SideB too. Corrin be stepping over everyone in the competition.

SideB is gdlk but I use it way too much and end up using it in situations I shouldn't. It's pretty bad in neutral unless retreating but I keep throwing it out lmao. The more I nair/neutralB instead the better I seem to do.

Btw, don't you kinda think it's a bit silly that they ban Pro Controllers from most tournaments? Since I do use one myself, and I know that the problems with that being having to desync them, going to the Main Menu and all that shenanigans.

But what if said player doesn't even use/own a Gamecube Controller? (Well, guess they could just learn how to use one, but still. :V) Heck, I haven't used a Gamecube Controller in years, only time was once when I tested the Adapter to see if it worked for my Wii U. And it just feels so weird to me now; Pro Controller just feels more comfortable to me imo. :V

Now question and my own trash opinion out the way. Have Bayonetta triggering Corrin.

On the ground, you can input sideB>A immediately after to stab in 7 frames. Will stab through the ledge and tipper ledgesnaps for 70% kills, onstage you can just pin people for 19% and still potentially kill. From a 7 frame option.

Retreating aerial sideB is still pretty good because it comes from an angle most characters don't have anything against, is safe, and is really strong if it tippers. Full jump height tippers standing characters, and you can jump or use the early autocancel on an aerial to get out of landing lag.

Nair is so hilariously good it's like two Cloud nairs going simultaneously except it also starts combos

Late but for anyone who cares or was wondering, all notifications/activity from people you follow pops up in your News Feed which is found under the drop down menu when hovering over your name near the alert icon. Outside of that, following doesn't do anything except for potential ego boosting.

Also, upon exploring with other characters and then using Zelda again in the same matchup, I have almost as much trouble (the ones that aren't awful for her) with her as I do with other characters I'm skilled with. Perhaps it's not the character I use, but instead how I try to fight in those specific matchups. Maybe this is how I can improve (since I've hit a dead end and haven't gotten any better recently).

Edit: Ended up venturing off to Anther's Ladder for the first time since June of last year. Bayonetta did really stupid top tier stuff, so I won almost every battle with her, and won every battle as Zelda tonight (the two of them) with either lightning kicks or a trip up the elevator. Teaching these unsuspecting guys what's up with mah gorls.

In XenoB CX I beat Murderess' last affinity mission.

Murderess decided not to be a real murderer but when you think about it, you hunted the guy down, mortally wounded him and left him to be eaten by a monster. How is that not murdering him?

The last 2 characters I need to finish affinity missions for are Yelv and Mia. I'll be glad to get them over with so I don't have to bring those characters along anymore.

My playable character tier list based on how much I like them goes:

Irina, I like strong women. She takes no **** and is the closest character to actually behaving like she's in an organized unit and not some high school gym class.
A
Frye, he gets things done, wants to be strong enough to protect everyone and doesn't complain.
Hope, good person, not a whiner. I like characters with take-it-in-stride attitudes (something I'm bad at). She has a better developed character than most.
B
Elma, I like her but she's a bit 1 dimensional for a character, no real growth. She's also too apprehensive, having to explain everything no matter how obvious or urgent the situation.
Gwin, not as much of a wimp as he first seems. He's likable and humble.
C
Nagi, similar to Frye but a little less likable and more 1 dimensional. His victory line 'you messed with the wrong secretary' is dumb but his combat value more than makes up for it. Best party member for ground combat.
Alexa, managed to be less 1 dimensional than she seemed at 1st. Good attitude but not my type so much.
Lin, same as Alexa
D (the annoying and blah tier)
L, joke character, no origin and tbh he could have been completely cut without impacting the overall story.
Celica, I might be missing something from the Xenoblade series but she seems completely shoehorned in with no relevance. Extremely strait forward, 1 dimensional character.
Phog, he's okay story-wise but all he does is complain in dialog when fighting/exploring. 'I'm hungry', 'I don't belong here'- so don't come!

E (where I start to dislike characters a little)
Mia, annoying and she's even more annoying when she is voiced (who'd a thunk it?). Her whole story is a series of baby sitting missions (I haven't done her last mission though).
Doug, total pansy who lets even Lin jerk him around.
F (the I really don't like em tier)
HB, arrogant p**** who makes you want to punch him when he speaks. He does want to make a positive difference but his ego often clouds his judgement. (I know he learns after the last affinity mission)
Boze, very similar to HB in a different way. At least when you have them together they get mad at each other's arrogance.
Yelv, jerk. He asked me what I wanted to do but when I said 'hunt indigins' he made us go reclaiming. Why ask then?
G (hate em tier)
Murderess, spoiled rich *****. She's in a lower tier than characters like HB because she only cares about herself. She also sicced her dogs on me and stole the reward money.
Lao, if you beat the game it's obvious. But even if you put the stupid betrayal plot aside, he ****ed over his own team. I know he was depressed about losing his family but know who else was too? EVERYBODY BECAUSE THE FREAKING PLANET WAS DESTROYED! You don't abandon your squad like that. He seems chill when you talk to him but his actions speak louder. (If Lao returns, he probably will after some side quests, I haven't seen that part yet)
