On the 1 main vs using mains and secondaries argument...
1 main may be good AT FIRST, but then you run into problems later. For top players, they pretty much know everything about their character that is known right now, so they don't have much improvement for that character. You also have the problem of being predictable. If you only have 1 playstyle with 1 character, people are going to get used to that after a while no matter how good of a player you are.
Meanwhile with secondaries, you can surprise someone by using a character they didn't expect you to use. Also if you're already proficient with 1 character and there isn't much else to learn until a new combo or tech is found or patches change the entire character, why not learn another character? If ou main a rushdown character, you know what is and isn't effective against them. But secondary a campy character, then you can learn what is and isn't effective against that character, maybe find out how to exploit a flaw in your main with your secondary in case you find someone who mains the same character for you, it's just better overall imo
