I agree with what you're saying, but let's not delve into that please. Yeah, it's important and stuff, but let's not spark a wildfire of political do's, don't 's, and maybe's. This isn't the time or place :^) I'd also rather not have people going berserk on aninternet forum
Why are you quoting me? I didn't bring it up.

I know you didn't bring it up lol It's just that you kinda went "VOTE BLUE". They were just saying what they feel should change.
No, he was saying voting is for scrubs. There are very large differences in American political parties and I'm sick of the false narratives of 'both parties being the same' and 'votes don't do anything'.

Look if BJNumbers wants to make a rule about this and put it in the OP fine. But people can't just censor topics that make them uncomfortable. This is a social thread and not everyone wants to talk about which Japanese cartoon characters have better fashion sense or should date each other, not that there's anything bad about that.

oh lol I didn't know you meant CPU. It probably was a sarcastic comment.

Personally, I don't think it's because it makes people uncomfortable. I think it's because it's usually followed by a hostile, drawn-out "debate" that accomplishes nothing but headaches for anybody involved.

To be fair that's an assumption and it can happen to any topic. If someone says a 2+2=5 statement then they're going to be contradicted. They can go wherever they want from there. For example, someone says the 'morning after pill is an abortion pill' that is flat out wrong. It really prevents the egg from reaching the fallopian tube, which means it never is fertilized, the same as other contraception. But people still parrot that it's an abortion pill and then other people see that and continue the chain. The topic is productive even if it rustles some leaves; better to rake the dead leaves then let them sit to eventually start a fire.

I had a Greninja ditto in For Glory just now. Best ditto of the day! Or night. Or early morning.

I need sleep, that's where I'm getting at. Well, at least I ended my For Glory session on a positive note. Night guys. Sorry I wasn't so active my first time around.

College. That is all.

Morning girls. How's everyone doing? :4zelda:

Just had my breakfast and playing some Medabots again. Almost at the end of the game. :yeahboi:

Hopefully I can get some of the other items too. Since I did miss out on getting the Cat Medal. But oh well.

I've been thinking about the way I play a game, Smash included. I need to do everything perfectly. I consult guides or Gamefaqs either in advance, or after I've completed a section, and make sure I've unlocked every secret and XP bonus and resolved quests, etc. in the 'optimal' way. If I feel like I've missed even an insignificant piece of content, I'll go back for it.

Smash
I try to be perfect when playing this game. Teching everything, using the most optimal techs/combos/strings/moves at specific percents and picking a character that have a better MU with my opponents main. It's stressful but sometimes I mess up and lose but that's the fun of it. Learning from my mistakes. It's also the reason I've preferred playing defensively over aggressively. But I'll routinely change my playstyle to catch my opponent off guard. Make them follow my pace. But I guess that's all in the past cause I'm retired from Smash indefinitely.

Pokemon
The moment I learned about IVs it ruined Pokemon games for me. It taught me that the Pokemon I had wasn't the best version of it that I could train.

Perfectionism like that is probably connected to a hyper-competitive mindset. I've noticed that in the circle of friends I have within a few days of playing an online game I already start to talk about intricate game mechanics that they don't really noticed or care about. I look up articles, videos or discuss the game with other players in online forums because I want to know everything there is about how the game works and how to beat it. The issue is that I also do this for games that don't require it or aren't inherently competitive.

I guess this is the reason why I play so little games every year. Because I spend way too much time than I should have. At least I'm still having fun doing it. :)

You are not the only one that despise IV's
IV's are in game evidence that what Karen says, aka the line used by Smogon haters,
"Strong Pokémon. Weak Pokémon. That is only the selfish perception of people. Truly skilled Trainers should try to win with the Pokémon they love best."

Is factually wrong, no matter how much I love my Electivire, if he doesn't have six 31IV, no amount of skill will be able to overcome his statistical flaws

EV's on the other hand are bae

I'm just lucky that I got that one Ditto from Wonder Trade. So it makes IV Breeding much easier for me.
So the pain of IV Breeding is nonexistent for me. Since I just place a Pokemon I want into the daycare, cycle around the Resort, talk to kid. Hatch Pokemon, check IVs, rinse and repeat.

Only time it's a pain is when I have to see if it does have the right ones or if it's the right Nature.

And now I'm just too lazy to finish my VGC Team. As usual. :V

Yeah, seems like they have changed again. Shame that I cannot see the whole of that gif.

Oh well, maybe when another update comes, they'll allow us to full view it like we could before when it was in a spoiler.

doesn't help the data miner thought they found something big

Even GF has turned the line on it's head by having one of the NPCs say something along the lines of "you can't always win with your favorites" in ORAS. Then Wally ends up ditching the Gallade he went through the story with for one not unlike what you'd see in competitive play, and another NPC is kinda weirded out by how many eggs he was going through.

I still need to actually play through the rest of my Alpha Sapphire copy.

At this rate I might just restart the whole thing since it's been ages since I last played.

I can't believe people are still buying into that not voting/false equivalency bull****. Do you care about same sex marriage rights, slowing landfill growth and global warming through preventative measures and renewable energy, healthcare designed to treat early symptoms and vaccinations rather than going to the emergency room, improved education, deficit reduction, science, equal treatment of all religions and not having the USA become a christian theocracy, less corporate welfare, not building a pipeline across the usa so a Canadian company can pump oil to the gulf, not invading other countries for no real reason? Then vote blue!
Socialism, ride or die!

(Though in most other countries the left is red and the right is blue -- for some reason, we're one of the few countries to have the left as blue)

short hop air time 39 frames

nair autocancels 27
fair autocancels 30
bair autocancels 25
uair autocancels 39
dair autocancels 39

do all of villager's aerials autocancel???
Bair's late hitbox is out till frame 26 and it autocancels on frame 24.

like seriously wtf ban this character

That's a thing? I guess that explains why I can't get it to work.
tysm ily <3
It still can be shorthop autocanceled though. But you have less lag if you fast fall and take the landing lag since the landing lag is only 12 frames. And its easier.

Meanwhile here in Ireland, the right is blue, and the right is green, and the left might as well not exist because of what we call "Civil War politics" (what little left does exist is red, though)

That Twilight Princess remake better come true. That's all I'm saying.

I haven't played Pokemon in a long time. I have X, but I'm not sure if anybody even plays that anymore.

Ugh, well I woke up sluggish this morning. Then again, I was up in the wee hours of the night, so I have myself to blame. Anyway, hope school turns out fine today.

The USA has many socialist elements already. People need to get over this post cold war delusion of "anything not pure capitalism=Commie". The simple answer is left wing ideology outperforms right wing. If the country was too far left I'd vote right but it's not. Considering how corporate superpowers control their industry and they get billions of $ of corporate welfare and military contracts, I consider leaning left to actually help capitalism at this point.

I kind of feel the same way, but the difference with me is that I generally try to do the best I can with only fundamentals. Stuff like Melee's wavedash bugs me not to mention all this pivotting nonsense. And you won't catch me exploiting glitches to go faster in games like Metroid.

As far as completionnism... as long as there's at least a tangible and worthwhile purpose to seeking things out I'll do it, but otherwise I'm not THAT concerned with 100%.

See when I say socialism, I don't mean Bernie Sanders socialism or Western Europe socialism. I mean proletariat seizing the means of production socialism, haha. No private ownership of resources, people above profits, open-borders, the destruction of global capitalism....

But since that's not going to happen any time soon, I'll be happy enough if Bernie Sanders wins. lol

The TPHD might actually be real though. Apparently the eShop servers are listing "Twilight Princess HD".
http://m.ign.com/articles/2015/10/14/the-legend-of-zelda-twilight-princess-hd-spotted-for-wii-u
IGN reported it so it must have at least a little bit of credit, lol.

Anyway I'm really hoping it's real. Really. Badly.
Hope they give us like a 3x damage mode or something...

Although if it's listed on the eshop long before it's announcement it may be an eshop exclusive or a simple HD port like the KH HD games. I dunno... I wouldn't expect something on WWHD's level right now.

I wouldn't go that far. Ultimately the way I see it is any system of government (or lack of) involving humans is flawed and subject to corruption. The little guys always suffer (which is why they should vote). To have a system that works best for the people, a single governing body, be it CEOs, elected officials (let's face it only those with money have a chance), religious leaders, or whatever, will eventually become corrupt. We need a balance of power to keep the people represented.
