It has been too long.
Life is at my own crossroads, of which I have to make some of the most difficult choices of my life. I also feel quite a bit older, wiser, and enlightened than I used to once be.
My relationship with my special one is still going strong. We had to move to a long distance relationship because life is at 2 different places for us. However, this should only be temporary, as it should only be around 4-5 years. We still communicate, every single day though, and we see each other as often as we can.
If you have the chance though, PM me. I would be happy to share your burden of your problems, to help solve them. And perhaps you could do the same to me if you would like.

But, I also do agree. I am more or less in a good place.
I'm sorry you and your SO had to move to a long distance, but I'm glad that it's going well for you. Those can be really hard to maintain, but you sound like you have it handled, so many kudos to the both of you. I will go ahead and PM you, I still have our old convo :)

I think we need some tunes for this place. Put the Jam in Lozjam so to speak.
I have the perfect song as well.
This song perfectly represents everything going on within this thread. And of that I am glad.

That is fantastic news.

Ah... The rejoicing of friendship, and the memories we shared. Now this is the Zelda social I remember. 'Tis nice.

The number was...
21

Nobody guessed that so the closest was evmaxy54 evmaxy54 with 22. Come pick a thread title name and make sure it doesn't suck.

Cress! Cress! You had the number right when you made your name but you totally dropped the ball with your guess.

Lavani, I was actually going to do something like that. You almost won the second time in a row.

My first post was in March. I think I joined at the very tail end of "the glory days". I had lurked the forums for a while and browsed the socials. I made an impulse decision to join and that led to here! Most of the other socials for characters I liked were not very active (Bar Robin) and the people here seemed interesting so I made a post and then look where it got me. It would have been interesting if I joined earlier than I did, but i'm glad I joined at all.

I think my greatest contribution to this thread has been the Zelda-Social Hunger games. Those were fun. :happysheep: I hope you've all enjoyed my presence!

Twili Twili 's back to stealthily/unintentionally stealing pages again.

This place is going back to its glory days.
You are very welcome.
I didn't expect for it to happen, but I guess I am a miracle worker. I am glad, however, that getting everyone together was easy, reminiscent, and amazing. Which just goes to show the quality the Zelda social used to be. You merely needed a Ganondorf in your lives again.

Wait, I made the right guess for this all the way when I made my YouTube account back in 2009???
Spirst, 21 better not be the right number because that's freaky.
btw my next guess was 25.2827283729384839

Honestly it feels good that people welcome me back whenever I leave for extended periods of time. I'm likely to come back if people tag me, especially if Rickster Rickster ends up telling me on skype that I've been mentioned. SB just isn't as big in my life anymore, unfortunately. I'll still come back though.

Tfw everybody in the thread is like 2,000 pages / 5-10 years old to Smashboards and has beautiful nostalgic stories of sisterhood and Sass bonding.

Then I hope you stick around more often now. Same goes with everyone else. I do feel as if I'm one of those who may have disrupted the peace here, which is why I often tend to doubt that I'm bring any substantial discussion here.

But enough about that. How is everyone doing today?

I still feel like a Zelda Social newbie. Even though I'm one of the veterans nowadays.

in your dreams..
Ah I see. I remember of the time of which I came to this forum for help. After the concussion.... I felt alone for I could not be with anyone. I found this place, and found it to be a highly intellectual place. Where the discussion was not of Smash, but of gaming in general. There was time for silliness in between, and I was always ready for a raid. This was a place I truly felt at home.
However, now, it seems like it is entirely nonsensical, silly place, where it is very rare to have close, personal, and intelligent conversation. It is all very shallow, and worthless talk.

I miss the old Zelda social, and I wish to restore it.
It is unfortunate that Twili Twili took her leave. I feel I miss her the most around these parts. She was a great person to discuss problems, and she was a true friend time and time again.

I want that old Zelda social back, as I miss it dearly. Ganondorf's heart needs a little light in his life. So I will do whatever I can to revert this once prosperous place of community, friendship, and intelligence back to its former glory. Else this is not a true place to me. This is a hollow shell, where and idea, and a dream was shattered.

A couple months back I fixed the link social as well..... For a time. I should probably check on them as well and I shall see the horror that awaits.

@Mocha as well?!
That is a shame as well. She was also one of my favorites. She was also the one to welcome me and invite me to this board.
Much has changed..... It certainly has....
To be fair, Ffamran Ffamran always brings in his perspective on games and such. Most are about his Falco woes, but he also talks about other games. There was discussion on the Final Fantasy series and Custom Moves a couple of hundred pages ago.

In regards to the "Old Zelda Social", its time has passed. It's why we call it the "old" social. Leave it be. We may not be the "Old Zelda Social" you've come to love, but that's not a bad thing. "Change denotes neither good nor bad. It just means not the same." That's a quote that's stuck with me for five long years for good reason. It allowed myself to keep an open mind to things like art, music, or people. An example is Metallica, my favorite artist of all time. It formed in 1981 and is still going strong. Their music has covered a range of styles in their 34 years, from their thrash metal beginning to their hard rock period to some symphonic enhancements. Some have come to only like one particular style they have, and then condemn the band and its fans for liking anything other than what they do. They have shut off everything that isn't what they know.

Sure this place is silly, sure we don't always have in-depth conversation, but do we need to? Why do we need to be "fixed"? We aren't broken. To call what we have here "worthless talk" insults me. It was our "worthless talk" that drew us together, and to say that it means nothing is infuriating. While you choose whether or not to accept what this social is, I'll be here in this social for better or for worse

I only first started posting here in the 900's (around the time I made my account) but wasn't too involved until the start of summer. As far as I can recall, this place has remained nearly the same since then, just a lot of old people have left and a lot of new ones have shown up. It's sort of created its own 'culture' and sense of humor since then with a million inside jokes that are still being used and will never die.

The funny thing was that I joined right when the Zelda Social Tournament was made and registered for it before even posting in the Zelda Social. :secretkpop:

I wonder what my avi was the day I came here.

I think I joined dis place before Selena Quintanilla became my Queen.
Weren't you using a Daisy alt Peach avatar? Also, I remember you from the Smash 4 social.

I don't remember why I posted here... All I remember is that it involved @FalKoopa... and I think a raid... I do know that I ended up migrating over here from the Smash 4 social when it became way too meme-y.

I think my biggest contribution/impact to this thread is getting a warning for calling Tea-No out on his one-man raid (though, Macchiato Macchiato , you were freaking savage when that happened, lol).

I'm a boring person who makes boring posts.

Great to have ya back.

This thread is in the middle of a huge nostalgia fest/remembering the good times so if nothing makes sense, than that's the reason.

I'm the one in the middle with the red shirt for (somewhat) obvious reasons.
