A guy who wasn't even involved in the arguments and had been a member of Smashboards for over a year overreacted SO HARD to all the stuff going on that he QUIT Smashboards ON THE SPOT.
This was his last post.

I think I'm gonna try to quit/take a break from Smash now. I've been playing pretty poorly recently and I'm just so tired of being mediocre at everything I do. Playing Smash online is just embarrassing. I'm not having fun anymore, and even casual FFAs haven't been enjoyable for me. It's likely that I won't be able to go to a tournament with my mom on my case about video games and college, so I probably won't be able to give myself any real closure about my skill level. My presence on the boards is pretty useless since people always seem to know more than me and any humor I deliver is hard to come by. Probably taking a break from competitive Pokemon too, though not as long from what I can tell. It's been real gorls. May or may not return.

Also if I return, dropping Ness cuz PK Thunder is bull

I haven't watched it yet I'm seeing it at 7:30 PM today. But I'm really glad you liked it! A lot of people have told me it's a lot better than what they expected!

I've managed to avoid spoilers, other than the fact that the Dilophosaurus shows up in a really unique way. I can barely contain my excitement!

It really is great!! Like...you have to kinda turn your brain off when you see it, but what's great about it is that it knows this, and it knows that's what the audiences are expecting of the film.

I guess it's pointless for me to talk more about it until you see it So I'll come back tonight to read your thoughts on it!

What languages you gorls all speak? I know English, French, Mandarin (including a dialect from Shanghai), and a very little bit of Japanese and Cantonese.

When you say know do you mean have a basic familiarity with it or are proficient in it?

I know English (obviously lol), I'm fluent in French, and I had have a decent foundation in Latin so I can still recognize grammar concepts, but I can't translate well anymore because I'm very rusty and lost vocab. The same is true for Japanese. I can recognize intermediate and advanced grammar forms, understand basic sentences, but I've lost most of my vocabulary so I can't really speak it (I could probably get back to the intermediate level with some review though).
