My opinion on customs is one of indifference, though I am leaning more towards defaults just because of familiarity.

I'm not sure if people would even care about Kong Cyclone if it didn't have a pseudo-autocancel, it being difficult to punish is really the worst part of it. When you know the move's mechanics the rest of it is whatevs, it's just unreasonably safe when landing above the starting elevation.

This thread's been more negative toward them than most of the forum for a long time. We're like, the only place that didn't practically lynch Seagull Joe over his anti-custom sentiments lol

Just the fact that my main is totally shafted by customs by making MUs feeling bad like Brawl's. Good characters are even better.

Tell me to adapt? Use Zelda and then tell me to adapt.

I openly admit that my opinion is biased towards my best advantage and not what's best for the metagame (though I think both coincide). I unlocked all customs on the 3ds though and I am just about to give up hunting for headgear. Just one more...

Customs are fun in friendlies where jank won't get pulled on you much but
In a competitive setting....
I don't think it'd work out too well in the long run
Unless the devs want to nerf/buff some then rip (which is unlikely)
Idk of it's just me losing a little bit of faith in Smash 4 daily lmao

Customs are really fun to play around with. Competitively? I can't say. But I enjoy using them in friendlies.

It's not out of the question for customs to get nerfed in balance patches. Dragon Rush got its damage reduced significantly.

I'm up earlier than I originally am, but I just wanted to check the Zelda Social before I have to go off to the wedding.
New Inkbrush is pretty cool, but it seems like you need to be very good to make it viable. Reminds me a bit of the DemoKnight in TF2.

I don't care about the customs themselves, why not use them, they are there and they add a little flavor to the game. It's just the horrible logistics that Lavani was talking about. That's what needs to be solved.

Also before I forget, I don't really care if the game is customs or no customs. In Training mode I always have them turned on because everyone uses them.
There will never be a general consensus; the game will be just two things. Either way I still find the game fun.

I still rather dislike customs. I am less familiar with them than the basic movesets.

There is always Training to try them out.
Default is more familiar; customs just give the characters more tools.

I guess... I find customs to be strange. Some customs can make a character a top tier. Customs remind me of Project M. Its so unofficial. They feel messy. ESPECIALLY Jigglypuff's customs.
Still waiting for Hyper to show us were we called out Ganon;s customs.
