Zelda and Link are scrub destroyers but have disadvantages at competitive levels. Unfortunately scrubs tend to whine loudest to Sakurai when they get destroyed.

GGs. Fun fact, I actually planned that Halberd laser kill on you after seeing it happen to a friend of mine.

Also, Duck Hunt. Duck Hunt is kinda flawed. Overall, if I outcamp (olimar) or outspace him (Rosalina), I'm pretty much all set. Not to mention his recovery is pretty bad in both vertical and trying to avoid punishment. So getting you off stage is amazing for me.

If I play patiently, I can win. If I play greedy, I'm in for a world of hurt. You also need to learn to play more patiently. Near ends of matches, you start to resort to Duck Hunt's biggest flaw, his smash attacks. Which don't always even connect all the way and leave him right open if I shield. You have to keep up the defense no matter how bad it gets and only go for an opening when you can.

Still, don't often face him thats for sure.

On another note, Zapp Renfro from Kekkai Sensen or Blood Blockade Battlefront in English looks like K' if he wore white, was more silly, didn't wear sunglasses, and used blood instead of fire powers. There's even a dude who looks a bit like a redhead Wolverine and a bit like Violence Jack which is a really bloody, NSFW anime and manga sort of like Mad Max I guess since I never watched it or read it.

Everyone though her recovery and rolling game (she learned it from Link tbh) was too good to be true, and the fact that Lightning Kicks kill super early made everyone cry.

Then they realize that Fair/Bair is her only usable move. Ooops.

There was no reappear hit-box in Melee.

But yeah the fire made pretty much no sense. I still want the PM devs to fix that in PM.

Yeah Duck Hunts pretty bad i had just been 200% camping all morning as DH and decided to let go and get greedy for the rush. sometimes those smashes were attempts at short hop Fairs but lag said "lol wut"

Zelda will always be in an awkward spot. Her base moveset that Sakurai has given her since Melee just DOESN'T WORK. If it's just going to be some minor changes from game to game, of course she isn't going to be any better than low tier. Problem is that if you change her such that she gets something incredibly new, like PM's Din's Fire, then people are going to complain like crazy and call her too good and OP even though she still suffers the same fundamental problems she has with her moveset and attributes throughout. No matter what, if she's good, then people are going to complain. If she's bad, people are STILL going to complain. Lose lose situation for our queen here, and I hate it. :////

I'm sorry that you don't understand being a top tier main.

Only scrubs lose to bottom tiers. Scrubs have loud voices and people follow them blindly and Sakurai doesn't realize she's trash. The pros will be able to adapt quickly to her tricks (READ: ZELDA HAS ONE LINEAR GAMEPLAN, PREVENT HER FROM DOING THAT = WIN) and easily beat her.

You can only have so much fun beating people with bottoms.

It's funny, both Bowser and Zelda were bottom/low tier in Melee in Brawl due to bad design.
Come Smash 4, and is decent and no longer bad.

Why? They actually bothered to change his design around.
