Okay gorls, listen up. The Mario Galaxy franchise might be lacking in some areas (namely story being kinda lame and the worlds feeling empty and unnecessary sometimes), but it does NOT lack in the music department. These ****ing games have fantastic OSTs and all you nonbelievers should be ashamed.

Example 1:
This song is great. The horn section in the beginning play a short intro that demonstrates Bowser Jr.'s menacing side. Then comes other brass instruments to play a playful bassline. The woodwinds come in and play a cute melody, showing that Bowser Jr. is still a kid, despite his tough facade. Then comes another menacing section with the woodwinds and brass together (I think?) that again hark back to Bowser Jr.'s tough side. This song perfectly encapsulates his character and is definitely memorable.

Example 2:
This song is so good that I can't really describe it. The amazing, grandiose opening actually almost brought me to tears when I listened to this again to write this little description thing. The strings are on point, playing a unique, yet familiar melody. There is a woodwind instrument (I think it's a flute, but I'm not 100% sure) that plays its own little thing during the opening and while the melody is going on. The melody is reminiscent of music that would be played at a Parisian café. The bridge in the middle provides some really fantastic contrast to the main theme. The fact that more instruments are added to the theme as you collect more stars is a really cool feature. This is one of my favorite songs in all of video games, tbh.

Example 3:
I adore this song. The music box sounds are really cute and play on the fact that this story is about Rosalina as a child. The fact that it's so minimalist really adds to its emotion and power. The melody is so simple, but it's really effective in conveying the feelings of the innocence of youth. Rosalina was just looking for her mother and stumbled upon all of the universe stuff by chance. This song perfectly demonstrates how she must've felt. It's too bad that the Rosalina boards here have come close to ruining the character for me, despite how much I like her. This song really "hits me in the feels." I could listen to this for hours because it's so calming. Again, I love this one.

Mario Galaxy's music is one of its strongest points imo and you all better believe it.

I'll have to agree, Galaxy's music is phenomenal. All of it is really nice sounding and gives you that adventure vibe to it. Really captured the essence and presentation of the games well.

On an unrelated tangent I've also been jamming to some OSTs I never thought I would.

Like, I'll just make some highlights
The music in these games....all of it's worth a listen I'd say.

He thinks Shulk and Greninja are bottom tier because they have bad frame data. He also is part of the reason Fuujin got banned. He's a Rosalina player and isn't great, since Macchiato destroyed him in like every match they played.

Comet Observatory always brings back memories. That's one song I'll leave on max on the Mario Galaxy stage forever.

On a side note, was anyone else disappointed they didn't do more with the Galaxy stage? The Egg Planet is cool, but there are so many possibilities (see SSF2), I was honestly expecting more than that. Disappointed.

I am currently dying of cuteness and fluffiness right now from :4darkpit:xreader fanfics. Honestly replacing "reader" with your own OC or crack ship is the best thing ever.

Comet Observatory/Luma's theme is the best song in Smash 4. I also have it set to max, but I like all of the other songs on that stage, so I don't mind if it doesn't play. Mario Galaxy has the best music for any stage.

I would've liked a Skyloft-esque Mario Galaxy stage where we're taken to many of the different worlds that were in SMG1 and SMG2. That would've been really cool, and probably would've been my favorite stage.

So yeaaaa I really like :4greninja:&:4mario:. I lost most of the matches with them but that's because I was training my demon :4villager: amiibo, lol.

:4mario: feels very easy to use and like a much better :4miibrawl:. He won't be too hard to pick up.

:4greninja: wasn't very easy to use, which I expected since I don't really know his moves too much yet. I kept using side-b accidentally when trying to recover which caused me to sd, so I need to work on that.

But yeah definitely gonna use them more. :dr^_^:

Subjective, although it is extremely good. My favorite song in Smash 4 would probably be either Route 10, Destroyed Skyworld, The valedictory elegy, You Will Know Our Names, or Mechanical Rhythm. Engage the Enemy would've been up there but the changes they made to make it fit better don't sound too great.

My favorite song in all of video games would have to be Prologue B from Xenoblade.

Snowman is in Smash 4, isn't it? If so, that's actually my favorite song. I forgot all about it. The choir in the beginning gets me every time. I need to play Earthbound soon. Rosalina in the Observatory is still amazing, though.

I have no idea what my favorite song in all of video games would be. There are way too many that I love, but maybe I'll make a list when I finish up my Bio project.

Honestly Mario music was never my cup of tea. Neither was Sonic music because the fanbase is ****, and every time I listen to a song I see stupid comments, making me want to stop listening.
I really don't have a favorite song.
