The developer for the next Star Fox games isn't known yet.

The whole Platinum Games thing is based off the fact that Hideki Kamiya wants to make a Star Fox game and with Nintendo's relationship with them everyone took it as fact but it's nothing more than a popular rumor/misconception.

It's very well possible that they are developing it, but nothing is confirmed yet.

Though speaking of dumb smash attacks, the frame data on Olimar's fsmash/dsmash is ridic, Christ. Might be the best smashes in the game.
