Well, I tried For Glory to fight some Mewtwo... Yeah... I fought a Triple D from New Zealand and it was horrible. The input lag was like almost a second of delay which makes it stupid as hell when Triple D responds faster than Falco. Well, 4 straight losses thinking I could deal with the lag and he leaves. At least he didn't taunt or anything.
Next up was a Mewtwo. This dude had no idea what he was doing... The only thing he knew he could do was D-throw? to Side Smash and Disable to Side Smash. He SD'd with Shadow Ball and started off each stock charging Shadow Ball despite me punishing him all the time for it - I'm assuming he thought it would damage people like in Melee and Lucario's Aura Sphere. Fighting (a newbie) Mewtwo as Falco gets to point of Falco's frame data and damage makes it feel like Mewtwo's damage, speed, and range non-issues. Speaking of range, Mewtwo's freaking disjoints, man! The only aerial that I think isn't disjointed is Dair because that uses Mewtwo's foot and not tail or Fair which seems like Shadow Claw. Dtilt's insane on how fast it comes out and low end lag with that range. Jab is weird... Sure, it's powerful, but if I were a Mewtwo, I'd prioritize on Dtilt... Why does this sound like playing as Ganondorf? Oh, and uncharged Shadow Ball can be clanked.
After him were two people who ragequit: a Rosalina from somewhere around in the US and a Sheik from Japan. No Dash Attack spamming from the Rosalina player, but it was a Rosalina and as Falco, it's a pain in the ***. Somehow, I ended up Falco Phantasm spiking him and he Launch Star'd the wrong way - towards the blast zone. As it happened, the game froze for a bit, went to the victory screen, and he left. Yeah... Oh, and I still hate Luma absorbing hits and having incredible knockback. I could have taken a stock while we were both near the ceiling with a Bair, but NOPE! Luma eats that Bair like it was the tastiest pheasant leg it ever had and then proceeds to Uair me. We were both above 100%, but still... Man, it reminds me of when 6wX lost his stock because of Luma eating his Uair and Uairing him back.
After that was a Sheik who had no idea what he was doing... You don't charge Up Smash while I'm above you hoping to land it... No Fair usage... Seriously? Needles were used weirdly, no Nairs, and the only combo tool was to use Uair after a D-throw. So, match ends and he leaves. At least there wasn't any noticeable input lag. Long story short: For Glory is still crappy. Of those matches, not a lot of rolling, but it's still For Glory...
