Plz don't tell me we're gonna have Ryu in Smash. Plz.
Have mercy on my poor soul. Roy is bad enough, but Roy and Ryu would be like an overkill.

@Mocha I'll refer you to this post I made to someone feeling Fsmash wasn't changed:

I'm sorry if you're still dropping people often when you're using Fsmash, but it's completely true that Fsmash had some alterations made, and I made it CLEAR that it still isn't going to connect 100% of the time.

It connects very consistently on grounded opponents, and gets very slightly less and less reliable the farther off the ground the opponent is. At some point vs specific characters it will still drop. Now though, it's more like a 60% chance of getting the final hit at the worse end instead of A 10% CHANCE.

It has been proven, side-by-side between the versions that alterations were made, and that they improve its consistency.
I was the one hew confirmed the loop hit angle changes initially on Fsmash. There also seems to have been some sort of Weighted KB change ALSO helping it a little, as ZSS doesn't even go into a tumble when hit by the multi-hits, like she did in 1.0.4-5.

Link's jab 1 got mutilated. The one safe move a low-tier had, the largest key to his close-combat meta, destroyed.

In a game where jabs like Fox's/Falcon's exist.

Nice going, Nintendo. Absolutely fantastic.

I'm not sure what's more confusing to me, the fact that they singled out Link's jab or how much lag was added to it.

I don't know the exact number but it's gotta have like 10~15 extra frames on it at least, it's absurd. The old IASA on it was as soon as the blade stopped glowing blue (frame 20).

EDIT: I'm gonna say 8~9 actually

that's still nearly a x1.5 increase in lag though

My brother was pretty depressed by it, but he'll try to somehow get around the issue.

He went against what I said and picked up Dark Pit because BLUE BLURS LOOK COOL (which I agree with)
