I'm about to sleep soon but I'll share a funny story

I was going to scar all of you by showing that Rosalina guy who likes it when Rosalina eats people. Although some of you are probably not bothered by it, I'm pretty sure you guys are still somewhat disgusted. Anyway, I wanted to scar all of you before sleeping because I'm a horrible person. I opened his profile and my computer froze for a good 1 minute. For that 1 minute, I was forced to look at the art works of horror.

Ain't karma a *****, huh?

I know but uuugh.

-Just lost a lot of rank in the ladder because a Village killed him at like 80% with F-Smash two times in a row, is very salty-

I'll get over it soon >_>
Aww man that sucks.

If it'll make you feel better we can play~ you will probably win most matches anyways :p

What kind of playstyle do you like?
Brawl conditioned me to have a more defensive playstyle, though I've been working on aggro too. Not sure if I'm looking for a particular playstyle, though it'd be nice to have a character who doesn't play like the one I already have.

@ Macchiato Macchiato Peach feels so awkward and stiff in this game. I wanna like her tho

@ Soul. Soul. Maybe. Can never have too many Pokemon, right?

My second match on Anthers went by ever so smoothly
First match I lost because of 2 SDs ;-;
Second match I won because of nair>castle siege transition (guy was super salty)
Third match I lost because of pellets stealing my jump :drsad: (I had about 60 and he had 100 agggggh)
Then the guy pulled a disappearing act for an hour
I didn't know what to do so I couldn't move onto another person :mario64:
I'm too worried about losing to play someone other than Link when I'm on Anthers
It's gonna take me a whiiiiile to learn Greninja ;-;
I also set the C-stick to tilts (I use too many smash attacks, and not enough tilts)
Gonna take a while to get adjusted to that

Oh my glob I forgot about A + B = smash attacks now. I can finally have my c-stick set to specials without losing my easy pivot smashes! Best patch ever.

:happysheep:B-reverse for days.

Edit: Ooh and perfect pivot disables. This is going to be fun.

Glad to see that I'm almost done with my University work (For now.)

And I got myself a Pikachu Amiibo (Sadly, no Zelda, Bowser, Lucina or Shulk Amiibo from where I went to buy them. :c)

Guys help me find a new main. Might end up getting in that @ Macchiato Macchiato status... though maybe not as quite indecisive.
Well let me think.

I would suggest possibly either Sonic or Sheik. But in my own personal taste.

The reason I didn't suggest my own main: Mega Man is because his heavy reliance on projectiles and spacing along with a heavy mix of other moves and also having a particular weakness to reflectors makes him an immediate turn off to anyone trying to start out as him. He's not very easy to get used to, but very good if you learn to harness him right.

Sonic is still a pretty great character I'd say even after the patch. If you're good with being able to read your opponents and successfully punish, Sonic is the way to go. He has a heavy reliance on creating lots of pressure and isn't that great if left in the wrong hands, but if used correctly, can be a worthy main.

And we'll Sheik... She's pretty basic to use and easy to learn, while also being quite powerful and easy to master. Quite a good idea.

All my own opinion. Good luck main hunting and hoped my input helped. ^^

So... Anyone want to look into these? This happened to Slush.
Apparently Mewtwo can walljump mid-Teleport. That sounds like what might've happened to you.
Welcome to the Zelda doesn't work crew, Mewtwo. :p
It seems Mewtwo's teleport was highly based off of Zelda's, so it comes with the same problems. Teleporting at certain parts of stages the wrong way will send you off in an undesired direction. As a visual example... this part of Omega Boxing Ring will usually result in sending you outward if you teleport straight up to the ledge from the wall.

This may be what happened to you.

GGs @ Kofu Kofu Fun Games
GGs! I gotta get ready for work now.

Be careful sending out Phantoms against Villager lol. Pocketed ones kill really early (I think you took like... 40%? lol). My Mewtwo needs work, especially with not SDing . Your Zelda and Peach were good (and probably Rosa too).

I think Dedede does strangely well against Peach.

I like how Mewtwo's attack trail colors change according to the palette used, but Greninja's don't. I guess Nintendo really does hate the frog. :bluejump:

Hey if anyone here is from VA, I'm trying to get some interest built up for a online tourney for VA Smashers, since there aren't many tourneys for those outside of northern VA. Go here if you're interested and maybe we can get it running by next month.

Try Diddy out, hahahaha. I wouldn't really recommend having a character with a super unique playstyle because they tend to be very intensive in terms of practice. You could also try going for a heavyweight like Ike, Ganon or Bowser.

@ Mocha Mocha gorl, we all have Macchiato problems. It's just that we don't announce them like he does.

In my case, I main :4zelda::rosalina:, but I also play :4jigglypuff::4mewtwo::4samus::4sheik::4wiifit::4zss::4bowserjr::4greninja::4palutena::4peach::4villagerf:. I've actually been considering really putting time into Puff and potentially maining her. I haven't decided yet, though.

I don't really want to choose a main for you, but I do recommend checking out this thread if you haven't already. It's pretty helpful, but I do disagree with the point that you should choose a character you can win with. My personal advice is to choose a someone that you like as a character and like playing as. Tiers shouldn't affect your choice (as you probably know, since you play Zelda lol). Those are the most important things in choosing a main, imo.

I don't think I'd do all that great with Sonic, but idk. Sheik is a possibility. Though to be honest, I'm not afraid of picking up characters with high learning curves. I already experienced that with one character, so I don't mind doing it again. And I've given consideration to Mega Man and Villager too.
