At least you got a Photon Strike Bounzer though. But you also pulled the sneak peek card. Yuck!

So what does everybody here usually use as their main archtype? I play Magnet Warriors usually, that's my main deck, but I have 2 others that I enjoy. Those are Arkana Joker Knight deck and Warrior/Mystic Swordsman Deck.

My current main deck is Dragonsworns and I'm building a Skill Drain Hero deck right now. I plan on integrating Hieratics into my dragon deck to make it my main deck.

You'll definitely want/need 2 more Atums and Tefnuit as well as 3 Gaias. 2 More Convocation also good. I assume you already have 3 Red Eyes Darkness Metals, but if not, 3 of those are awesome.

Too bad Gustaph Max isnt out cus that would also really help the deck.

I bought 3 Dragons Collide (Like half the yugioh community) so I have 3 REDMD. I'd rather play Hieratics than Inzektors, so I might try and trade my Hornet for another Atum. Too bad azneyeswhitedragon rejected my trade offer a week or so ago for that

Also, I really like Night Beam. Even though it's not quick play, they also can't chain when you use it. And it looks really rad.

I'm scared to look at how much Gaia costs...

I'm pretty sure it was a straight up trade. My Hornet for his Atum. It also appears that Atum has dropped about 10 bucks since I offered him that, so I don't even think the trade is really worth it anymore. I think I'm better off just selling it and buying the Atum online.

You're still able to get around Night Beam if you chain a different card, then chain the card targeted by Night Beam since it isn't responding to Night Beam.

Heiratics are sort of their own deck, and they only really mix well with other archetypes that aren't dragons, oddly enough. The Rank 6 build probably won't be too hyped until Gustaph Max comes out. Until then, though, I plan on going with the Rank 8 build for fun.

Gaia wasn't too bad last I checked, but it might have gone up. People aren't really going to care until Max comes out, though, and until it does you probably don't want to run Red-Eyes Darkness Metal in Heiratics in 3s.

If your opponent has to make a chain link 3 in order to get their card activated, that's still pretty good as its making your opponent prematurely empty their backrow. In this case, you'd be taking out 2 of their backrow instead of 1.

And Gaia isn't bad. I think it was <$20 when I checked and Atum is <$30.

I'm scared for Gustaph though if/when we get it.

If either of those is mashed together with 2 others, will it be comparable to the dark world one?

I actually don't know how Hero decks function with only freaking ~10 monsters. Even with their 4/5 search cards, I don't understand how they always seem to have a monster to play. I'm really sure that Hero decks cheat.

I've never been to a Yugioh tourney before, so I never considered YCS. You going?

Yea I'm planning on going. Even if you haven't been to a regional etc before going to a YCS is pretty fun. If you don't feel confident in playing the main event you don't have to enter as there's plenty of other things to do as there's numerous side events throughout the weekend. Not to mention tons of people to trade with and possibly play outside of entering events.

Plus I can maybe house you if you feel like trying to go. My friend and I take a train straight from our town (Doylestown) to where the venue is in Philly so it makes things easy for travelling.
