Hey all, welcome to the Sonic Game Speedrun thread! The thread is pretty self explanatory, you post your best time on whatever level you went through and I'll keep track of them here. Video or picture proof is preferred but not necessary. I trust you all are mature enough to not lie about your time.

Now I have the urge to speedrun most of the games I have. I wish I was good at Sonic games.

I can't supply a picture, but I do have the Wii record for Lost Labyrinth Zone Act 2 in Sonic 4. It's 1'43'65.

Last I checked, this is the record amongst all three platforms that have this zone. I could try and reach that time again if you need a picture as proof; I can remember mistakes I made in that run, or going faster in subsequent runs that I can use to break it even further. I's like to see if I could break 1'40 there.

Never mind, I'll post it later.

For now, here's a Sonic 1 Master System Time. I was too lazy to go over to my Wii and do it over, so I downloaded the ROM instead XD.

I'm pretty sure I can get 19, but the signpost won't spin until the camera catches up to Sonic, so I need to slow down for that.

Yes, www.soniccenter.org is a great place to be for time attacking tips and tricks. I usually contribute to the community by breaking shiz like in my latest video, or like the gtw trick for Sonic Unleashed ps3/360. I'm mostly a 3D Sonic person though.

I tried speedrunning it but my thumb messed up multiple times and I ended up jump-canceling my spin dash instead of jumping AFTER the spin dash.

I did get sub-1 minute, though.
