1. Megaman-He would be a cooler version of Samus and hopefully quicker, probably a fast-faller.
2. Sonic-I love speedy character and Sonic would be fast if he get's in.
3. Diddy Kong-He should have been in Melee already. I think a lot of people are expecting Diddy to be in Brawl.
4. A sweet original pokemon. They have a lot to choose from, they should pick an awesome one.
5. Dry Bones-He would be cool. I liked playing as him in Mario Party 7 and I hope he is in Brawl.

Judge Judy and the ball from pong in an all out battle to the death would be awesome
1. Geno - the coolest character from Mario RPG, he practically already has the pefect move set, he could even use Geno Flash as his Super Smash
2. Sonic - Come on, everyone wants him, do I really need a reason?
3. Diddy Kong - Donkey Kong has to have a partner for Brawl, and Diddy is the pefect candidate
4. Ridley - I dont exactly see what Ridley could be like in Brawl, but it'd sure be cool to see him there and what Nintendo comes up for him
5. Bomberman - You cant have a complete roster for smash unless you got a kick *** little dude who can pull bombs out of his ***

A lot of people have mentioned Geno as a character, which is cool, because...well...Geno is cool. :/ But I also hope to see Mallow as well. If he could control weather, that gives him an excellent moveset.

Well my top 5 is...
1)Bomberman, for some reason I really want to see an explosive char in the game.
2)Samuri Gorah, a big fat guy with a sword and pistole...pefect.
3)Wolf O Donnel, "Can't let u do that Starfox", I really just like him cause of his cocky attitude and I think Fox's rival deserves a spot in the game.
4) Paper Mario, I just think turning into a Paper Airplane, twirling around with a hammer, hitting people with said hammer, and turning into a cannonball would be awsome.
5) Sonic, I just gotta give him a spot because I've been wanting to pit Sonic vs Mario for a long, long time, besides it would make a great event match.

I think if they put Sonic in Brawl they need to make him a fair match for Mario, making him too powerful for Mario to handle would just feed the Mario-vs.-Sonic fire. Same goes for any other 3rd party characters, they don't have to rival Mario since he and Sonic are the only 2 with a known rivalry, but they can't be overpowering to the rest of the characters in the game. Nintendo would only be making themselves look bad.

I agree with Dyce but I don't want sonic in anyways
1. Sonic- Someone even faster than fox would be awesome. Sonic also has a lot of moves that would fit Brawl. Its time he's put into another game after so many bad ones ^_^
2. Megaman- He started on nintendo and would fit very well. I imagine that he'd have a stronger kirby effect when he KOs an enemy.
3. Bomberman- I really want to see bombs being thrown everywhere. He's a fun cute character, so I feel like he'd be a great addition ^_^
4. MM Link- He can transform using masks. Imagine all of the non-transformation masks were used too (like while he's dashing he happens to wear the Bunny Hood)
5. Ridley- He has lots of moves to make a great moveset.

1. Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia. He has a slew of moves for brawl and dual swords kinda like Pit.
2. Sonic. He's on almost everyones list.
3. Lucario from Daimond and Pearl Pokemon. He was built for brawl. lolz
4. Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong could fight as a unit together like the Ice Climbers. However, you would be able to change between the two. For ex. use Dixie when you need air time, and Diddy when you need speed. That would make me happy.
5. Geno. His original character design and unique moves make him an old favorite that I'm sure many people would be glad to see.

rather just 5 characters, I'll put my 5 games
1. More Starfox - that's Slippy, Peppy, Wolf O Donnel (and his crew), Krystal...
2. Sonic the Hedgehog - that's Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and possibly Robotisized versions of them
3. More Kongs - Diddy, Dixie, Lanky... and it's time that Kranky gets himself out of the background and into the spot light! that's right, he'll beat you with his walking stick, and you're going to love it!
4. More Mario Characters- Geno, Mallow, Koopa, Waluigi, Toad, Baby Bowser...
5. Devil May Cry - Go Dante G... what? not a Nintendo game? so? neither was Metal Gear Solid!

Ummmm... Dante was never on a Nintendo system or game, Snake was. Snake had a few Nintendo appearances actually. As a matter of fact his first actual appearance was in a Game Boy Color game, Metal Gear: Ghost Babel. He also had a remake of his true clame to fame, Metal Gear Solid, on the Gamecube, Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes.5. Devil May Cry - Go Dante G... what? not a Nintendo game? so? neither was Metal Gear Solid!
Dante isn't going to make it in. Snake is not a Nintendo character, but he has good connections with Nintendo, as opposed to Dante. I hate to burst your bubble, but I don't see Dante in Brawl, and maybe not even the next few Smash games to be made. Sorry.

I'm really surprised at how many other people also want Bomberman, good to know I'm not the only one with a deep desire to see him in brawl, and I haven't even played his newer games, his super nintendo ones and Bomberman 64 were pretty good though, for some reason also liked Bomberman hero but I tried replaying it and can't get into it again.
Anyways reposting my list...

Personally, I'd rather see Megaman represent Capcom. He's a childhood classic, and he's been around much longer than Joe. He also is kind of the Capcom mascot.

My list
My top 5? Oooh, that's a tough one....but I'll try:
5. Krystal (Star Fox series)- I'd prefer the version from Star Fox Adventures seeing as her staff could be a viable option for her moveset. Not to mention she wouldn't be a Fox clone like Falco (even thought Falco is still good).
4. Zero (Megaman Zero Series)- I prefer Zero's updated look from the GBA games because his Z-Saber looks alot cooler and he uses multiple weapons, allowing for much creativity with the moveset. And come on, who doesn't want to hack apart Wario and Snake with a freaking Z-Saber? Or maybe you wanna kill Pikachu or Kirby, I'm easy.
3. Ridley (Metroid series)- They did a good job resizing and adjusting Bowser for Melee, I believe Sakurai is more than capable of doing a fantastic job on adjusting Ridley into a new character for Brawl.
2. Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic the Hedgehog series)- People keep arguing about Sonic vs Mario...and while its always an intriguing topic, while they give themselves headaches arguing it, I'll be using them both in a team. I love them both. Sonic needs to be in.
