It'd be so funny I could forgive them getting in over Waluigi. A little.
HWYR if Nintendo and Activision teamed up to make a Mario Kart/CTR crossover where you can select from a CTR playstyle or a Mario Kart playstyle, and it'll get free updates for 3 years, pulling characters from the deepest depths of Mario and Crash's histories (maybe even sliding in some extra Zelda and Spyro characters, and a certain speedy blue guy and his flying yellow friend), albeit with optional/non-intrusive MTX a la CTRNF (albeit with more reasonable prices) to keep the budget for DLC high?

HWYR if DeMille from Tomato Adventure was the early purchase bonus for Vol. 1 with his own song, and Byleth was made an early purchase for Vol. 2 with their stage and songs? They would still be able to buy separately from the passes, and so would the individual Challenger Packs.

I wouldn't be outright opposed to it, but I feel like the Avalugg might be a bit...deformed. I'd prefer if we just had normal platforms and the Floats were in the background. (Big Blue takes this approach IIRC)
