That does make sense because only Chrom's daughter(s) can inherit Aether, while Son(s) Rightful King. These can help with other children units that can have their parent being Chrom like Cynthia, Kjelle, Morgan, Inigo, Brady, and obviously Lucina. But also Priam only had the headband, he probably wasn't inherited it, but wanted to live up to his ancestor. It's hard to put "Ike" and "Ancestor" in one sentence. =Age of

I've been thinking...why don't they just make it so that you can combine some of the Miis' aspects and the Tactician? E.g. Use your Mii's head for the tactician's face, with it hooded for cutscenes...but have the Tactician's move set.

Also, I doubt Priam will have an impact on the next new FE, but the possibility is always there I guess. I honestly see them going and creating another lord in a different timeline.

The only female members are Titania, Mist and Mia.

Mist is his sister so no....

Titania's a bit older than Ike, but still possible.

Mia did call Ike handsome at one point. So I'm betting her.

Ike x Mia is one badass couple, I must say.

Perhaps if the Avatar makes in the game, he/she could be customizable as a bonus feature? You could choose between male or female and customize his/her physical appearance. This wouldn't affect his/her gameplay, but would add a unique twist to him/her.

I actually prefer the Avatar over Chrom. Having played the demo, I felt that the story is more centered on the Avatar.

After completing the story, I may have a change of opinion.

Ike x Mia would've been awesome and fitting. Doubt he'd hit on Titania seeing as she's most of a mother-figure to him. Also, she loved his father. And it's likely Greil even cheated on Elena with Titania. :o But Ike x Mia would've been beautiful.

Basically a fanservice-y character, but instead, one of those characters they put into games so the player can come up with his own neat backstory themself. Heck, in YOUR OWN POST right before my last one you were doing exactly that. Don't get all mad just because there is a possibility that Priam is not going to be a lord in the next FE (like you so dearly wish) and I'm the one to point it out.

EDIT: As for which Fire Emblem characters actually get into Smash 4, I don't mind too much. Yeah, I hope that Marth/Ike/Roy get in, but I'm not going to be upset if any of them don't. I know there are plenty of other characters that I'd enjoy playing in Smash 4. Also, if FE actually got 4 reps for Smash 4, it'd pretty much just be icing on the cake.

Fanboy can be seen as an insult though. Maybe a mild one, but it has to do with 'fanboy-mentality' which is basically a synonym for 'being stupid'.

I tried to like the idea of having Ike replaced by another character like Chrom, but it still doesn't feel right to me. I mean, Ike can pull of the heavy character archetype, but I don't like the idea of Chrom fighting like that. Plus, Chrom would likely have a different Side and Up B, cause those attacks came straight from Ike's games. So I'm really hoping Ike stays.

And if characters like Sheik, Roy, and King K.Rool can be so popular even after not having appeared in a game for a while I don't see why Ike shouldn't stay. King K.Rool and Roy are even amongst the most requested characters! And nobody even suggests Lucario to be cut anymore. I really don't see why Ike should be cut then.
