I like going Yoshi/pipe Frame/slicks/mktv for the old school feel. And it's not bad!

I'm still not sure what's the best stuff around, but think it's anything that has the stats of Mach 8 (3 or 4 other karts) jet bike (3 or 4 other bikes) and the slicks which is only Cyber slick being the other carbon copy.

Glider I use whatever cause I dunn think it matters much.

Accel Gliders are almost always better since they have added Mini Turbo as well.

And Pipe Frame is actually not bad at all, in fact, I used it in my very firs combo. Pipe Frame's lack of Speed though makes it really only viable on the heavier weight classes unfortunately.

I've been running Wiggler Kart/Slicks/MKTV. Guess I've been doing something right.

And getting this game during finals week was the worst decision ever. Arrrrrrrrrrgh.

I was about to say Wiggler isn't in MK8 and you're confusing it with MK7, but forgot they made a wiggler kart lol.
Think it's an ATV kart, and those are bad.

ATVs arent bad, in fact, ATVs have a more stable and consistent drift than Karts and can also corner slightly better. Difference is no ATVs have any additional speed (then again neither do bikes).

Slush, I mean that there's a lack of a good comparison system, and the lack of organization of the parts means that I get lost looking at the stupid bars.

Basically, I was looking for something like what Gashi linked to (thanks!), since I some of the smaller differences are harder to keep track of while scrolling.

Anything that's jet bike stats and cyber slick/vanilla slick, he said glider but I honestly think it really doesn't mattress. Then characters being the three heavies morton wario and bowser as best, yoshi can be fine not because of speed but because of his fantastic tractions/handling.

Ahhh play what character ya like Delta~ Basically any characters usable in this game with the right combo. Atleast online.

It's not like MKW where anyone who didn't play Funky Kong or Daisy were handicapped. Only ones I can see having trouble are the super feather weights, but still not unusable.

Not sure if gliders make a difference though, yeh. I think they may handle slightly differently, but it could be the placebo effect. I swear the flower fell like a rock when I used it.

Gliders have VERY minimal differences, but I still stand by my opinion that Accel gliders are better, even if it is only slightly better.

But yeah, most weight classes are viable, Featherweights are complete trash and Light weights imo are bad as well. Royals (Peach/Daisy/Yoshi) are borderline, but atm I feel like they work so long as you have specific combos (there are like 2~3 good combos on them that imo are viable right now).

Lights have 1 or 2 KIND OF viable builds, but the problem is that if any player of a heavier weight class starts front running on them, they instantly lose unless that heavier weight player makes VERY significant mistakes.

Pretty much.
I play Larry. He's not feather weight, but he's close. Honestly the worst part about using lighter characters isn't the lack of speed, it's getting knocked around like a ping pong ball. There's a high chance of just getting flat out wrecked at the start of some stages. Thankfully everyone online is kinda trash, and if ya get the lead you can damn near hold it the whole race even with lower speed and the threat of blue shells. :>
