Welcome to my 2nd Online tournament, I hope everyone enjoys this one and gets to <3 each other more along the way.
INTRO:
OK guys, here i am making a new tourney for everyone's enjoyment, I did this without thinking too much about it cause my last tourney almost failed and i didn't want that to happen with the next one but im not gonna stop that from making another, more successful one.
I really hope you guys enjoy this more than ever and learn more about the game along the way.
Basic Rules For This Tournament:
1. 3 stock, no items, and 8 minute timer.
2. Pick any character you want. CPing characters is allowed.
3. Only the legal stages are allowed.
4. First stage is agreed on by both players. Loser picks the next stage.
5. Quitting, restarting the match, stalling for longer than 10 seconds (like with Mario's cape stalling or Jigglypuff's rising pound), and purposely SDing will lead to disqualification.
6. Chain grabs, spamming, suicides (like Ganondorf's and King Dedede’s) and locks are allowed. No johns about players who do any of these things excessively. It’s YOUR fault if you can’t get past them. Play to win. All of these are legitimate strategies and can be overcome. Personally, I’d recommend counterpicking stages if you really have a problem with them.
7. No pissing.
8. No moaning.
9. A combination of 7 and 8 will not be tolerated either.
10. In the event that lag is beyond unplayable and both players agree. The match will be decided by a coin toss.
11. Meta Knight's Inter Dimensional Cape is banned, it is considered stalling.
12. Bower's suicide rules and Ganon's suicide rules is in effect.
13. Each played may ban one stage at the beginning of the set.
14. After a set (best 2 out of 3 until the semi-finals which will be 3 out of 5 along with the Finals), either player should report the results here.
15. Dave's stupid rule is in effect.
