It's harder then that though. Mario is a pain in the ***. He's got all these little mix ups that can fake out any character pretty hard.

I find YL vs Mario to be pretty tough. A patient Mario will just nullify YL's approaches. Maybe DJ Nintendo would have some input on this match up. i think it's like 60-40 mario's favor.

Anyway I agree with the mario vs y.link statement. I just picked up this character and suddenly found myself dominating y.link, and a few other matchups where I can chaingrab/edgeguard easily.

anyway mario wins vs yl but yl, so ive heard, is surprisingly capable of doing lower tier matchups, something that, even though i want to believe it, no one has proven to me

i've been having trouble with the mario matchup in general. def an overlooked character, scorpion master unlocked a lot of potential and got me thinking

he's fast, but just kinda gotta out-combat him with aerials and stuff since he is good at approaching us

YL v Mario is so confusing..

I definitely want to believe it's slightly in his favor.

Shae is pretty good with Mario but can never completely destroy me. But he does win with a good % lead.

Of course he knows me too well and every trick I have to offer.
