Is this tourney going to be able to be wrapped up in 8 hours? 35 doubles teams and 70 singles, and that's just as of now, im guessing it will be almost 100 people.

I can't make any guarantees. We will do our best to make the tourney run as smoothly and effeciently as possible. If we have to do pools...we just may, I doubt it though.

think of maybe extending it to a two day tourney? i dunno if youd be able to with renting and and peoples plans though...or else put a CAP?

Well, there's no way a two day tourney is going to work. We may consider putting a cap. Our GC tourney had 50 people last time...with only 8 tv's...and we got thru it quickly enough. I'm pretty sure we can finish melee doubles and singles within a reasonable amount of time with 70 + people

We're less than a month away. Lets get more equipment in order.

N64's and Gamecubes are in highest demand. I'm pretty sure that we can request a ****load of T.V's from the school.

I'm thinking about putting a cap on this tourney at about 100 entrants. I have a feeling that a lot of people (especially up here at WWU) are gonna show w/o contacting me first.

This tourney had better rock.

So far we have to house

5 or so canadians

5 or so oregonians

7 or so Washingtonians

We're gonna be flippin packed. Right now only Drew and I have offered to house people. I'm pretty sure we'll be able to fit these people, but its gonna be tight.

We are working on convincing other people to house you guys.

Though, in case that falls through, you guys should consider booking a hotel up here and splitting the fee. I'm pretty sure you guys could get it for relatively cheap.

We're working on the housing situation though...I don't want anyone to NOT come because they can't get free housing...that would suck.
