EDIT** Why aren't Peach's Castle, MK 1, Corneria, and Kongo Jungle (with the rock) banned? Additionally, why is Pokéfloats banned?
peach's castle can go either way, mk1 not being banned HAS to be a typo, corneria certainly should NOT be banned, and kongo jungle should be banned, but i dunno why it is.

pokefloats is banned? that cant be right.

Corneria should definitely be banned. With so many characters having ******** things with the fin, it's impossible to have anything resembling a real match. I guess I should start practicing Samus' upB stall and reading up on how to use bombs to make people fall through the stage.

EDIT** Gimpy, what were those vids on youtube that you wanted me to watch? I searched what I thought it was but there weren't any results.

I think all stages besides the six neutrals should be banned because they are all ******** for some reason, hence why they arent a neutral stage.

Serious question, why is pokefloats not completely banned? That stage is so not even remotely *insert word meaning good in some way or another* in anyway.

Edit: Even most of the neutrals have stupid things, especially stadium.

Edit 2: You also know if I had my way it would be FD everytime because it is the only truly neutral stage... if only battlefield didnt have the hacked edges, rant rant.

Samus might not be invincible, but it's still fairly ridiculous to fight.

Tori, some stages are worse than others, Rainbow Cruise isn't as bad as Hyrule, but is worse than the neutrals. I know your post was probably mostly sarcastic, but counterpick stage bans are actually pretty important.

Only the 6 neutrals wo0uld be ********. There are some good stages. Kongo Jungle 64, Green Greens is legit, Mute City, etc.

Woah...concerning stages...

...I just cut and past GC rules X-D

MKI IS banned in my book. The rest stay.

P.S. - I fell thru the burning tree stump thing and died (on my last stock) playing on Pokemon stadium a couple nights ago during a really close match with Wes. Gay.

The topic and first post both say April 21st, so I'd hope that date is confirmed.

Dan - If you think that falling through pokestadium is gay, why allow a stage where that can be reproduced with little the opponent can do about it: Corneria?

Unban pokefloats and Oregon will <3 you.

lol...

You guys take these rules too seriously. I copypasted GC rules, and did notice that some of the stages were funky. Ideally, I'd probably just go with MLG rules. Though, I cannot remember what they are exactly. I've never heard of Corneria being banned, and I like that level, so it stays >:-[

I'm fine with Pokefloats.

OK - final word, no complaints, *ahem*

Neutral stages are same as always. ALL the rest are counterpickable EXCEPT:
-Hyrule Temple, Onett, Fourside, Flatzone, Brinstar Depths, Icicle Mountain, Big Blue, Venom, Yoshi's Island, Mushroom Kingdom I, Mushroom Kingdom II, Termina, and Yoshi's Island 64.

I can't please everyone, and not everyone will agree. If you don't like a particular stage, ban it, 'nuff said.

EDIT: Date is absolutely confirmed. WILL NOT CHANGE IT.

April 21st now? Wow...

Anyways...whoa, Kei is on the UC list?? Awesome, I guess.

Uhh...there had better be...plenty of...umm...arrogant noobs for da moneymatchin'...I'm sleepy. Unless of course the tourney is going to be run as if it were PAX, where MM is banned as well as good hygiene. Wow PAX dumb.

Dan -
Can you look up some hotels in the area?
Iknow there is one right at the bottom of the hill I think going up to WWU... but its been a long time.

Just in case someone needs to stay at one (like me heh) we have the hotel info easily accessable.

I saw Taj glitch through Goldeen in an MLG tournament. Ever since then I've never trusted that shifty-eyed pokemon.

We'll be able to house you most likely. Between Drew and I, we can house upward of 15 people, albeit a little cramped, but hey, its free.

TV's and extra copys of smash will only makes things run more smoothly. Just make sure all of your personal belongings are clearly marked.

EDIT: can i get the names or gamer tags of your friends for the confo list?

You and your tv's...

Ok - thus far we have the 6 in our household, 3 more from the VU, 2 or 3 from gameclucks guy, 3 or 4 from drew, and then you guys should bring some up.

That makes the count 14 +

As I said before, any additional cubes / tv's / 64's are more graciously accepted.
