The Church has decided that this event is only open to players Middle school - College Age, We'd like to formally apologize to anyone over College Age, you are not permitted to attend the event. We did not have any say in this rule, the Church was already a little nervous about opening the event to College Age players."

is college age still 25?
if we're not allowed to attend does that mean we're not allowed in the venue, not allowed to play, or not allowed to compete in the tourney.

It's a really long walk. =\ I might just not enter, and show up for friendlies.
No, I want to enter. But...it IS over an hour's walk just to get there (i can forget about getting a ride to a video game tournament). No johns, I guess. We'll see.

Is there any chance that I could get a ride to/from this from someone? I'm in Oberlin, which is like 30 mins west of Cleveland. I can absolutely make it worth the while (in terms of money/food/conversation).

Funny story, first day freshman year in college...
My roommate: *sees racquet* You play tennis too?! Where were you in your high school lineup?
Me: Yup, I played near the bottom of varsity at #4 doubles.
My roommate: Ah, well I was near the top of my high school's varsity team at #3 singles. Come at me bro.
So we go out and grab a few games the next day...
My roommate: YOOOOO, what is this ****, I got bodied. Where were you in the lineup again?
Me: Like I said, #4 doubles.
My roommate: WTF high school did you go to?

My roommate: That... would explain things.

lol It always seemed the richer the school was, the better at tennis they were. Univiersity HS >.<
The better tennis schools usually just have more people to begin with. Which means a bigger tennis community and more active facilities. Which means an easier time plucking out the young guns who can make varsity and such.
