lol that em and wayne song has a tight beat..

but common this is a perfect example of my qualms with eminem

Or Ima f*ck around in this ***** and roast everybody
Sleep on me, that pillow is where your head'll lie
Permanently, *****, its beddy-bye
This world is my Easter egg, yeah, prepare to die
My head is swole, my confidence is up
This stage is my pedestal
Im unstoppable, incredible Hulk
Youre trapped in my medicine ball
I could run circles around you so fast your f*ckin head'll spin, dog
I'll split your cabbage and your lettuce and olives

like common.. how can he honestly write that and be like "****tttt soo ill"
just sooooo much devolution from his old self it makes me sad.

What is this from? I thought it was from "Medicine Ball" but that stanza is nowhere to be found. Or is this a Common diss track? I'm so confused.

EDIT: NVM, it's "Drop the World" my bad. Yeah, not the hottest verse ever

I'm listening to these Lil Wayne Rebirth tracks.

Seriously, anyone who likes them needs to get dropped in a volcano.

Eminem has fallen on the lyricism......Relapse 2 better come correct because the first was such a disappointment =/. On another note, any one interested in seeing what Distant Relatives is gonna sound like(that collab between nas and damien marley)?

The actual lyrics aren't anything special. The delivery, flow and the way he actually connects the words is why he's still pretty amazing.

He needs to work on his word choice though, sometimes it's just awkward to listen to.

Joell Ortiz - Roadkill mixtape. GO FIND AND LISTEN TO IT NOW! IT IS TOOOOO SICK

About Roadkill. It's good, I like it.

But it's not as great as people making it out to be. Escape Route >>>

I'm a fan of Joell, but sometimes he's corny. He's nice but he rarely says something that really makes me go ****! Pull that back! or anything that blows me away.

However the grandmother tribute track and Stalker on Roadkill are great.

lol, of course I'm looking forward to them. However, Joe's put out sooooooo much music over the last year, I want him to take his time with it. Especially MM4. I think he said he's taking a break after TGE.

i'm not really a fan of joell......
on another note; looking forward to The Great Escape and Mood Muzik 4??? :)
MM4 isn't coming anytime soon, lol. He should save that jewel for later either way, he's already got a ton of buzz atm.

TGE tho...I'm getting it the day it drops...it's gonna be amazing. I loved padded room.

I dunno dude, b4 Joell, my rewind button used to have mad dust on it...

this song is too true :/

"Peruvian Cocaine" Immortal Technique

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJfumftYyxY

Can anyone help me out with all the other MC's on this track? They all spit fire, and top Tech's mini-verse.

This verse is my fav:

Honey I'm home!/
nevermind why our bank account's suddenly grown It's/
funny, we're so out of this debt from this money we owe Would ya/
mind if I told you I had two governments overthrown
To keep our son enrolled in a private school, and to keep ya tummy swollen/
C'mon, our ****in' home was built on the foundation of bloody throats
The hungry stolen of they souls, of course this country's runnin' coke/
I took a stunted oath to hush the one's who know/
The CIA conducts the flow of these young hustlers who lust for dough

I am now a fan of tonedeff :)

Joey better space out his music. He keeps droppin music at this consistency, he might burn out =/. But MM4 should be amazing. I'm just waiting on the Great Escape. I'll buy it the day it comes out. Anyone know when that is exactly?

Also what the hell is srk?

I dunno, I'm still sorta new to him myself. Roadkill so far does not disappoint though...so I'd start with that one, lol.

@ Matador; I heard it before. It's cool, no complaints. But was I blown away? No. Illest thing I've ever heard? Nowhere near.

IAamBlu3 check Brick Bodega and Covers the Classics.

I'll say this about Joell on a final note. He has a very pure hip hop feel. You can tell he really loves what he's doing. When I listen to him I often find myself smiling and laughing at what he says and how he says it. He's dope, but he's not as incredible as people make out.

Side note: I HATE when rappers say something along these lines

''something like something, did you hear me, I said something like something'.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. It's prolly especially apparent to you since you've been listening to dude longer than I have. Earlier in the thread you mentioned how his concepts become one track after awhile, and already I'm beginning to see it.

Still, that track was dope as **** to me, lmao.

smh @ Royce on No Coming Back From That

It really is annoying, it ruins the whole flow.

Track of the Day

Classified - Up All Night

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBTDlyiejSQ

lol @ something like something. I hate when rappers can't think of anything to say so they either stop rapping like 15 seconds before the hook or start counting/saying "na na" on the beat......so sad lol -__-

and I already downloaded Roadkill. Is Brick bodega better? I haven't listened to it yet.

How can they not think of anything to say when they have almost all the time in the world, they dont freestyle on songs. They just dont want to say nothing and/or want to kill time on the track to make it longer.

Everyone else is already on the bandwagon. I swear it's the most irritating thing listening to his tracks on youtube and then scrolling down to read the comments. These fanboys make him seem like a god or some ****. I won't say he's terrible, but i've heard better :)

^^agreed. track was meh...
