Wolf O'Donnell for Brawl: The only good choice for a starfox villain

I had a hard time understanding the point you were trying to get across, on account of, you know, it doesn't make sense.

And for Christ's sake, people, it isn't Wolf at all. Anyone who's played at least one Star Fox game with Wolf in it can see that it isn't. This is Wolf:

This is how he looks in just about every game. He has light gray fur, a mechanic eyepatch, a bigger build than Fox, etc. That alt. looks nothing like him. It has dark fur, could be dark gray or dark brown (but I'm thinkin' dark brown), no mechanic eyepatch, no similar physical build to Wolf, etc.

I mean, Jesus, personally I would love to have a Wolf alt. for Fox, but it isn't at all. Just as much as the light-blue Samus alt., claimed to be the Fusion Suit, ISN'T the Fusion Suit at all.

The Samus alt seems more like the gravity suit. =/

Anyways the image is blurry, but if that is a gray Fox, then really people it's just time to accept it. Wolf's not getting in. The thing is, is even if that's not a intentional copy of Wolf, it over accentuates how close the two are. Falco makes much more sense at this point too, as he is not only in more games than Wolf, but also plays a much more active role, actually is something you can't copy with a pallet swap, and was in friggen Melee last time. =/

And DKWii, your idea would work better for the rest of the Star Fox team, wouldn't it?

dear god..i hope that was sarcasm. ZS samus so far has been one of the biggest wastes of a new charater. metroid needs more reps, but why, WHY waste it on another version of samus that isn't even playable in metroid games?

dark samus had so much potential, not to mention being a different character entirely from samus aran.

Yeah it is wolf, his sayayin scaner turns black or something, so it looks like his eye patch, also i think the mohawk is present. I might be wrong. I whon't say for sure that he is deconfirmed until we get a high quality video or pic of him, but i think it's fairly sure to say that he IS deconfirmed.

Actually, you can play as ZSS in Metroid Zero Mission, hence the name. I guess you could also say she's been playable in the original Metroid as well. =/

The thing with Dark Samus is that she can only get in if another Metroid character does (Who doesn't share Samus's name) It would be pretty silly to have three Metroid characters all be Samus, wouldn't it?

I'm SO pissed that they're not putting Wolf into Brawl. The SF franchise needs some villain representation, not Krystal. I'll be so mad if Krystal gets in over Wolf (which is probably going to happen). Who the hell am I going to main now?

I agree that Wolf isn't out yet. I mean, can anyone clearly tell anything from any picture or video? Because no one has posted any thing that makes me believe that they can actually use those videos as proof. Like I said, Wolf's chances of getting into brawl maybe as good as a snow cone's chances in Phoenix, but there's still a chance.

Zero Suit Samus is not even taking up space in the roster, she's only playable through item means and one of the hunters is probably a better choice than Dark Samus, but that's way off topic in the Wolf thread isn't it?

I think he was making a connection between D. Samus being an alternate costume for Sam, and Wolf being an alternate costume for Fox.

because there are so many mario characters in already that chances are Birdo won't make it on her own... they would likely never make yoshi look just like birdo, but they might give him a recolour with a red bow, pink skin and purple spots

Well, if it were just a recolor and a bow as Hedgedawg suggested, it could work. However, if we're talking about an actual Birdo costume, it wouldn't work because of one key characteristic.

Wolf should definetly be in it. Although, the moves you suggest make him too much of a fox clone. If some unique moves are created he is a definetly a playable character.
