Seriously, ZenoStar appears from nowhere, joins the largest online tourney Smashboards has had (Save for the release one), and beats us all, and on top of it all, he's doing it with freaking GANONDORF.

I feel bad =(

He has 76 posts, I don't think he's been around here much, FMOI.

Also, you click the Show your Signature Box below your post.

All you have to do is copy the coding down and people can see the actual original post, and who posted it. =P

GOD-LIKE
anyway, I was not playing your lucario right?
Lucario's not one of my best characters. In the grand scheme of things, I'd rate him as my second worst with Snake being my worst, oddly enough. Still, who's to say that you're not good with Lucario too? Heck, I two stocked your brother with him twice so...

No offense Yaya, but I've been here for less than 4 months. I've only posted 26 times and I still placed higher than you (2nd place)

I don't think activity on Smashboards has anything to do with skill.

A lot of people enjoy spewing garbage and acting as if they know the "coolest" combos. They make up nerdy terms for things that seem so negligible for true skilled players.

But when it actually comes time to brawl: tell me this: does the amount of posts or their seniority on SmashBoards actually affect their skill?
In my experience, not at all. I don't have enough time to make posts every single day and discuss mundane concepts of something that I play simply for joy.

I apologize if I offended anyone, but that's how I feel.

Well said, well said. Also, Scimitar, you have a reserved spot in my next tournament if you want to join since you got second.

I might change mine but, like I said, I'm not that good with Lucario and he was one of the characters I really wanted to main when the game came out so I'm strongly convinced that I should stay with him. The Ness-DK combo sounds really great too though...

Thanks...looking forward to it. Your tournament was a success. I think the reason why it drew so many people was because of the character filter you placed.

Although possibly unintentional, you managed to filter out the annoying characters that require little to no skill.

The only character I would say kind of falls into that category is Metaknight. Also, I sort of did do that intentionally because it's really discouraging to know that you're going to enter a tournament just to get your face handed to you by a Metaknight/Snake player.

I sent Zeonstar his copy of SMRPG so hopefully he got it. It feels good that everything went so well. Personally, I thought Mmac was going to win it all because of the way people were going on about him.

The sad thing is that I probably would be the only person here that could beat him, and I was SUPPOSE to fight him too.

I played against really good Ganondorfs (Ganondorfs that can actually destroy me if I make the slightest mistake O_o), So I doubt this would have been any different.

I also suspect that Ganondorf is nowhere as bad as people make him out to be.

Almost all the low tier characters are like that actually. They can all be scary in the right hands. The edge that low tier characters usually have is that many people heavily underestimate them based on their tier placements so their opponents unintentionally sandbag during the matches. I wouldn't be surprized if this happened to Zeonstar in some of the matches. For example, I played against him yesterday with my Toon Link. It was a very close match (basically neck and neck through out the whole thing) but he won despite the match up supposedly being 70-30 in TL's favor. I purposely picked TL because I knew this. (I later won using other strong Ganon counters like Pit and the Ice Climbers but that's a different story.)
