Oh yeah! I called Pluvia an immature **** because I pointed out everyone of his points about me to be wrong but he claimed something completely ludicrous after-so! Must bash him!

No not really.

Seriously, if you continue this, I will report you, Pluvia. You're acting like an immature ****.
You always try to shift the blame to someone else and make it seem like they're doing something wrong when they protest against you. You'll say or do something extremely insulting then tell everyone to ignore it because it's only insulting if you are insulted by it. You constantly pick on those who disagree with you, and insult them to high heavens. Then get away seemingly scott free.

I do not like you. I'm just making sure that everyone knows what kind of a person you are.
Strange how I could predict what you were going to do..

Err... No. Sorry, bud, but I'm not shifting the blame towards anybody. This is my thread, I created it and put a lot of effort into it, I don't want your idiocy to ruin it. You either stop this like I politely said or I will report you.

But seriously, ever wonder why I said, "No, not really"? It was to prove a point, because apparently arguing to you is not actually having things to back it up. All you did was make a ludicrous claim about me without anything to back it up, when I fully backed up all of your supposed points against me. That is a prime example of an opinion that's complete rubbish.

Yes, if you get butthurt just because of a Christian reason, then yes you are a Christian f-ggot. There's obviously nothing wrong with being a Christian, but being a total f-ggot about it makes you look idiotic and puts a really bad name on really cool Christians out there.

But yeah, just drop it, this discussion is spamming up the forums. I was mostly being sarcastic, but in a sense I just want people to lighten up. Yeah, you think it's not funny, great. But don't complain about it like it's the worst thing ever nor should you take everything so seriously. Doing so would just make a fool out of yourself.
Insulting people to high heavens, then shifting the blame, and telling people to ignore it.

I've quoted all this before, like that racist one with Diddy Kong, all those ones where you said you were hilarious, those ones were you pointed out how you're basically better than everyone else.

I don't think you belong on these forums. I shan't continue this, I could be typing something better.

But I think everyone has the right to know what kind of a person you are.

You wont believe the amount of people that agree with me.

Holy hell.... wouldn't it be a lot easier to just ignore Luke, dear god you're just nitpicking his posts to find something bad.

Hey guys, chill out. I came here to see how the discussion was going and I'm dissapointed that in an entire page of posts there was nothing about the topic subject. Seriously! The words "Ness" and "Lucas" appear nowhere on this page. Not even in sigs!

Lets move on.

Are Ness players still resisting the idea that he's been removed? Or are we now simply hoping he's not removed? I'm going to say I'm downright compliant to the idea that he's gone at this point. Although I'd still argue that it's somewhat senseless if Lucas is as individual as he seems. So many vids just got posted around the net...and sadly no Lucas. It'd be nice to see more of his attacks to verify this point.

Sadly, although you have to wonder why they booted Lucas an any other already revealed characters for the demo. They might've booted Lucas and Zelda in fear that people will be revealed way too much about who's going to be in Brawl or not, like say if Zelda happened to transform into Sheik as her Down+B and Lucas happened to play exactly like Ness in every way (maybe even has an alt. for Ness like Link has an alt. for Dark Link; which, basically, would deconfirm Ness). Although this type of thing really doesn't apply to all of the other characters, but it's still a possibility that those two were booted from the demo for that reason.

And just on a note for everyone posting, I don't hate Ness, and if he happens to be in Brawl I would love to see two of my favorite Mother protagonist fighting against each other. I just, personally, rather not due to the reasons listed. I'm not claiming Ness WILL be out of Brawl, I'm just saying that I would much rather Ness be simply an alt. for Lucas, and showing a different type of reasoning rather than the typical and common one.

The point you make is good, about their exclusion from the vids possibly being for secrecy. Especially with Zelda. If one of the reporters had transformed into Sheik that would have been a big splashy accident.

I'm suprised I don't see more people talking about the weird characters available in the vids. Sonic but no Snake or Lucas or Zelda.

Luke, it's good to hear you state your plain opinion. That you would like to have both Ness and Lucas, cause I think despite all of our opinions on the likelihood of that happeneing...it's what we all want.

The next post I see by either Pluvia or Luke that doesn't pertain to the subject at hand and instead is attacking the other shall be sternly warned and it will result in the closure of this thread - they've already spammed it enough. That is all.

I agree. Ness should be a secret character again, along with Shiek being a new secret character, as well as HER OWN! (the transformation duo was dumb).
The transformation made sense for the last game, but I don't think it would now with Sheik not being in TP. I don't really care. Having her as a separate character would be cool, but I'm still ok with transformation. As long as she is still in the game.

As far as Ness goes, I would like it if he was a secret character and if he was actually good like in the first game.

Sheik not being in TP doesn't mean anything. If I recall, the Link and Zelda in the SSB series are they're own characters. They're not a Link or Zelda from a specific game.

QFT. Just because the SSB LoZ characters may have their appearances designed after a specific game doesn't mean they're the exact same characters that appear in said game. Those restrictions that apply to TP Zelda don't necessarily have to apply to SSB Zelda.

I don't wish for a Sheik separate character. THAT is really stupid, because, Sheik is not a separate character. She's Zelda! Many people forget about that. When Sheik wins a match, it is Zelda that won, under a different name. Zelda either transforms or no Sheik.

And if Ness is in, I won't care if I'm wrong, my favorite character ever is in. But really, I'm grieving Ness. I'm sad that he might not be in when I think about it, but I do welcome Lucas. At least Ness' spot wasn't taken by some random brat, he is a good character.

Ness-fans may get their wishes to pay off!

New pic from Famitsu, not known to be a move or an item, though. But if it's a move, there's a huge chance that Ness might return.

Even though I don't like admitting it..

Nice find Luke..

What could that possibly be? Is there an Item or Enemy in Mother 3 that looks like that? I've never played it so I don't know.

If it's a move, which it looks like it could possibly be, then that means that Ness' chances at returning are almost certain.

OMG! The Rope Snake! I hope that's one of Lucas's moves, this lessens Duster's chances though.

Edit:

This is definitely not an item, it would be useless for characters like Link and Samus, this is obviously a Lucas move, he will probably have Tether Recovery with this.

If Ness has a new moveset with psi rocking, teleport and wields a bat the whole time then I will vote for ness to be in Brawl but right now Lucas seems like a better idea

I certainly hope it isn't his Side+Special, much rather it be his grab, tbh.

If Lucas is going to be a Luigified Ness, I do hope his specials end up just being PSI moves. Like having PK Freeze as his Side+Special (like Ness has PK Fire as his).

I see rope snake more like his grabing move, that can be usd like a tether recovery like Link's Claw Shot and Samus's thingy.

Rope Snake...another move Ness didn't have...Ness chances had gone up!!!^^

At first, I wanted them both in the game, but after reading this I can see why Lucas would replace Ness. I wouldn't be too upset.

Ness may very well return, which I would be fine with.

Or maybe Lucas WILL indeed have all of Ness' moves just with a tether recovery grab as an upgraded grab from Ness.

It's also quite possible that he has replaced Ness but Ness' moveset has been better developed and added with MOTHER 3 stuff.

None of the moves we've seen in movies or screen shots have looked like Ness' though...just saying

What are you talkin' about? Pretty much all of the moves shown look similar to Ness' other than the fact that they have a Mother 3 refined hexagon PSI design to them. Not saying Ness is out because of those few moves, but they're shown to be pretty much the same.

like what move?
the only move that looks identical to Ness's is Lucas's Bair.
And Ness' Forward+Air, only that Lucas uses one arm.

And his move in the recent trailer is similar to Ness' standard B, just with a hexagon design from Mother 3.

we dont even know if that is a special, it can also be his Up smash...also the attack thingy banishes, PK Flash doesnt banish,
also Lucas fair (we dont even know what that attack is anyway, it culd be a special) creates a lightning-like ball, Ness just used his hands.

I said it was similar to it, not that it was.

Uh, no, not in Melee. Ness creates a PSI ball when he thrusts forward like Lucas did. In the original Super Smash Bros., however, he didn't.

It's him pushing his hands out releasing PSI energy.
