ah sorry , I thought you were the one saying you can't change the height of your trajectory
I was...and you can't....however, you can DI into a wall and bounce off it as you showed us, but that has nothing to do with changing the height of your trajectory with DI, because your path essentially remains the same heightwise, but is interrupted by the wall.

lol btw im pretty sure JamieHR was only trying to say all SSB game with have people who complane, dont matetr if it ACTUALLY is broken...

"His D-Air is basically an instant spike"
this requires contact, ha!

his Fsmash has very low top priotrity so yeah arieals (Arieals seem to be the answer to all asshat players xD)
But his D-Air is exceedingly easy to play. As a Kirby player, his D-Air is second only to Ness's in that game, considering it can do 20%, combo by itself for ridiculous percentages and even ONE hit is a spike. It's about as fair as beating up a two year old with a crowbar.

Kirby's dsmash has horizontal knockback ,and should have sent falcon leftwards , to death without DI

...except for the fact that the player used smash DI to hit the wall.
..the path isnt the same heightwise

kirdy's dair is like one of the easiest move to DI out of , dont talk about kirby like he's the only one to have a spike in the game lol

it is until he hits the wall...he would normally be sent out at a certain angle and height (negative height) , but due to the DI, it was interrupted.

http://smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=80947 read up. I misread it myself, it says it doesn't heavily affect it. Still, that translates to "don't rely on DI to save you from death via top of screen unless you can do it into a wall."

why wouldnt Falcon be high tier, he has combo potential on all chars, and his grabs are fast, he has good dash dance, he has two main disadvatages, his recovery and his weight

And a lousy approaching style, this is one of his biggest weaknesses.

I kind of disagree with this. Whenever I'm facing a really good Falcon, I can see his approaches coming from a mile away but he's just too fast to do anything about it. Also if he just like taps you with something you are probably gonna get grabbed, and that means at least half your stock is gone.

Best Falcon approach = short hop bairs. The recipient just sees an approaching wall of large fist, and then nothing (because they suddenly get comboed to death).

Smash 64 is the apex of competitive gaming, and Melee is a load of turd. Brawl has terrible music. :'(

How did this get to be about Falcon?
Best Falcon approach is obviously Falcon Kick --> Falcon punch combo, DUR.
Anyways, at Vex - Fox has a bunch of lasers, Falcon has pillows attached to all his hitboxes. It evens out for the most part unless you're on something stupidly flat and Fox doesn't feel like coming out of his camp zone.

Brawl is nothing like ssb64. No L-cancelling, fast falling is practically non existent, SLOWER than 64 and other things i cant think of right now. I'm not saying its not fun, its alot of fun, but its a completely different game from melee and 64. I got a chance to play it at pound 3.

I loved Smash Bros on the N64 up until Melee came out on the Gamecube. Then I just started playing Melee non-stop for years and I still do, but a year or two ago I played the original again for the first time since Melee was released for nostalgical reasons and was disgusted! The game obviously felt dated (aka it didn't age well) from the gameplay to the graphics everything about it just said "old". Don't get me wrong there are plenty of classics out there that I love to revisit from time to time, but unfortunately Smash on the N64 isn't one of them. Besides, I think Brawl is going to blow them both out of the water come March 9th! ;)

what features are these that arnt in melee? or do you mean the things taken out? also brawl is completely different from both ssb64 and melee, ssb64 = combo whores, melee = Highly Technical, as of right now brawl is neither of these. >_>, btw the dude that asked about the footstool jump, its terrible, I know, I've played alil brawl

I've played Brawl and they didn't really take much out besides glitches and they only improved the game. And I've played Brawl quite a bit, the footstool jump is good if used correctly, and we still haven't had much time to analyze how good it is or is not.

However, the game on the whole is far more fun than Melee in my opinion, and right up there with 64.

I've played brawl and I think its horrible. They took out all the important advanced techniques. The physics are so combo unfriendly its not even funny. Moving with your character is so awkward its actually the hardest part of brawl. The way I see brawl is basically a big hit and run noobfest.

dont talk like ATs and combos are mandatory to Smash. plus you dont know if they are any new ones for the moment. If you're playing Smash because of ATs and combos thenyou should just stick to 64 and Melee
