I do believe there's a reason why he said regional power rankings, Chillin. And if you actually looked at the threads, you'd notice that the other Pac West rankings copy verbatim (that means "word for word") from the SoCal thread.

ROFL yeah neal just destroyed me. It's not like he ignored the fact that regional power rankings aren't an original idea, and several people not in Socal mentioned them in the original power rankings thread.
I mean, I'm surprised he took the time between making Chu Dat combo videos to even respond to me. I'm honored.

While regional power rankings might not be an original idea, we were the first to implement one. People can talk all they want about how they should organize a panel for their region in order to rank players, but we were the first to actually do that. In fact, it was the closure of our thread (along with NorCal's) that sparked the back room discussion on power rankings and the establishment of site-wide standards for ranking threads. Therefore, we win.
Nintendo wasn't the first company to think of using motion-sensing technology to control video games. But they were the first to bring the idea to market in a form desired by consumers. Therefore, Nintendo wins.
Thomas Edison didn't invent the light bulb. But he was the first to mass-produce incandescent light bulb and bring it to market. Therefore, Edison won.

And yes, it's amazing how much can be done in one day, isn't it?
