Just play the game how its meant to be played, with every character, any stage, and items on? Why is it that with any popular game, tourneyf@gs have to ruin it for everyone, adding ridiculous rules and banning anything fun? What's next, banning helicopters from MW2? No swords in halo? If you don't play the game how its meant to be played, you sap the fun out of it for everyone else.

Different people like different things. We don't want to or try to "ruin it" for everyone else. You play it one way, we play it another way. Get over it.

I can't. Because anywhere i go online for brawl stuff, i find nothing but tourneyf@gs. Why does everything have to be competitive? Can't you idiots play brawl to have fun, or do you have to stroke your e-peens every chance you get?

There's no time or place for being a tourneyf@g. If you want to play a competitive fighting game, play street fighter, stop trying to make a game geared towards casuals into street fighter.

I play online all the time. Stop assuming I'm bad because I believe people should play games how they were meant to be played. You guys are worse than the people who took pokemon, a kids game that's perfect as is, and found every possible way they could be better, and turned it into a competitive piece of ****.

Kinda like what someone did to your mother last night, while you sat in your basement whining to her to get you more hot pockets and pimple cream?

ask yourself this. Why did you originally buy ssb, ssbm, or ssbb? To ****ing have fun. Not any of this tournament ****. Video games are for fun, not stroking your e-peen.

Theres something called challenge.
The way I have fun, is through challenge, thats why in video games there are "super hard, insane" options.
This is the most challenging way to brawl, that requires skill, and a lot of patience.
I have fun brawling this way =/

Sue me.

Fun is overrated. Victory is everything. And imo, I find it annoying that every time I ask to play brawl with random **** they always turn on smashball and ***** about gay tactics. Its annoying to have to deal with you casual ***s. Why do you have to ruin the competitive aspect the game?

You are everything that is wrong with the community. The game is for fun, not competition. The smashball is there for a reason. The game is good as is, no need for this "no items, final destination only" bull****. Nintendo is specifically aiming towards casuals. You want competitive, play street fighter.

By the way ODST, I am pretty sure around half the smash community is represented by my post.
Maybe half of the people who post about it on the internet, but the community is mostly made up of people who play with their group of 4 or 5 friends, who play how it was meant to be played, with items on and maps other than final destination, any character they want to. Not people who got pissed off when they found out they couldn't call themselves pro because they perfected 3 exploits in the game anymore.

You are everything that is wrong with smash. The game is for competition (I assume this because the game has winners and losers). There is the ability to turn smashball off for a reason. The game sucks as it is so we need some simple rules to make it playable a little less gay. I bet if the game was played like you suggest someone could probably make you rage quit with metaknight. And when I'm looking for a a competitive game, I'll look for a competitive scene that is intense and well developed.... like smash.

Anything else casual***?

The game is for fun. Ever wonder why there's no ranking feature in online play, and how you can't make fun of people when you beat them? So that tourney***s like yourself can't spend hours on end making people who bought the game for fun quit. Why there's no L-cancel or Wavedashing anymore? So that you don't have to spend hours practicing at a video game to actually play it. Also, if you actually practice at a video game, you already fail at life.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHaHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA!
Troll topic?
If not then... I'm going to have to take a piss in your cheerios (Yay for my catchphrase!).

You say we ruin YOUR fun, by how WE play... wait what? Don't like how us "tourneyf@gs" play, don't play, it's nice and simple.

The reason we bought the Smash games is too have fun, which we do. We just have fun in a different way to you, we like competition, having to practice to be at the top of your skill level.

Obviously you are much better than us, because when you play casually with your group of friends, you must never get annoyed that you lost a game purely because the Hammer spawned next to your opponent, or that while standing near the edge of the Mario Bros. stage. a turtle came out the side and killed you.

You DON'T have to practice to play Smash, you can play Melee without wavedashing or L-cancelling.
And how is spending time practicing at a video game give us no life, if that is the case I'd assume just "playing" video games would give us no life. We practice to get better like in every other hobby.

We have fun, you have fun, we don't force you to play like us, so **** off and stop forcing us to play your way.

Find a rebuttal to THAT! XD

I would leave you guys alone if I could find a single casual forum. A single brawl forum that isn't filled with tourney***s ruining it for the rest of us. I'm not a troll, I asked a valid question and people started argueing with me.
