If that's what you got out of the exchange, then you're literally not even reading it. I'm not reading Ran as scum from him seeing Soup as town, jfc.Lore
I don't think I learned anything from your exchange with Ran that changes my thoughts on either of you.
You've got other people that also say that they're not sure on the scumminess of soup, but the game is gridlocked until he flips, do you find them scummy?

Quick summary/timeline then.
1. Ran first said he "couldn't defend the claim" and did a lot of hand-wringing over being OK with Soup dying despite him being a town read and a claimed PR.
2. I developed a case against him by looking into his actions at End of Day 1, where I found that he has acted super weird about his Soup read. The main issue is that he suddenly and without warning dropped off of Soup.
3. When pressed on this point, he cited Spak's town flip as his reasoning, despite the sudden drop happening BEFORE the flip.
4. We had a back and forth where he then brought up a multitude of reasons that he had for dropping off Soup, despite never having shared them at the time.
5. Chief among them was that he saw Soup's reads as solid, specifically that he realized he could use Soup (his major scum read until the last minute of D1) to work together and push lynches. This is despite him directly criticizing Soup's play and reads multiple times.
6. The back and forth continues where we debate 4 and 5. You will have to read that one and decide how you feel on it; he ends up arguing that saying "Soup's reads were scum spewing and not townie" didn't mean that he criticized Soup's reads. Up to you on who was right here.
7. Then when pressed on his close to the chest play, he opens up about wanting to push Marshy but not feeling like he could. He essentially says here that he would rather let his supposed town read (and a claimed PR) die rather than push Marshy to get a different lynch.
That's my version of the events as I see them.
Not meaningful: most things involving Lore. Soup spewing trash. You said the same for Lore vs Soup D1.
What do you consider a meaningful exchange that has happened in this game yet
Anything that you think may be important to look into? Where's your head at the moment? Aside from wanting Soup dead of course.
I built a case on someone and caught them making contradictions, among other things. I fail to see how that's trash, and to be blunt, it's pretty demoralizing to have a huge interaction today then get it tossed to the side as "just Lore ****."Not meaningful: most things involving Lore. Soup spewing trash.
How else are we supposed to get info from people? Ask them a question, get a response, then instantly stop the conversation?lore: dive less into massive 1v1s and your content is less likely to be brushed aside
take me back to when you originally scumread+voted lore early D1. do me a favor and recant that experience from your pov in your own words for meI am present physically.
im present spiritually, but am not yet ready to ascendranmaru are you physically present?
we get just as much, if not more, info from people by watching what they do/did compared to directly interacting them. obviously 1v1 interaction is important to have when you feel particularly motivated to talk to someone about something. other than that, you can also address the thread as a whole. and people will take hold of what theyre intrigued by. and its more interesting imo to see players doing something because they felt motivated to, rather than obliged to weigh in.How else are we supposed to get info from people? Ask them a question, get a response, then instantly stop the conversation?
It doesn't help that half the ****ing game feels like it is inactive again or barely skimming the thread, while at least you have your note taking as a reason.
beckon for me when you are both physically and spiritually prepared for ascensionim present spiritually, but am not yet ready to ascend
I voted him in RVS for moving his vote, and then that read strengthened when I saw him vote soup in an opportunistic manner. My read didn't really change from there as he wasn't really doing much until the SOUP CLAIM page. I thought it was odd he was using my numbers question to force a team of Soup and myself. I didn't like his vote initially but it didn't make sense until after seeing soup claim and explode. It just seemed like he was trying to find things on me before considering the read on me with a neutral perspective.take me back to when you originally scumread+voted lore early D1. do me a favor and recant that experience from your pov in your own words for me
rereading thread and i specifically note this in #768 and Lore doesn't know it Day 21 phase. Oracle only gets 1 read max.
If that's a legitimate question, regardless of alignment, I'll go into it at length in post game. How else are we supposed to get info from people? Ask them a question, get a response, then instantly stop the conversation?
I took it at the time as "he gets one result max because we will only allow him to live for one day."rereading thread and i specifically note this in #768 and Lore doesn't know it Day 2
It's a very legitimate question. I felt like the Ran discussion yielded some good results, personally, but if there's a better way to go about this instead of heated 1v1s, I want to improve. If that's a legitimate question, regardless of alignment, I'll go into it at length in post game.
CatHello yes I would like to play but I have a problem right now
what was your early read on marshy, like at around the same time?I voted him in RVS for moving his vote, and then that read strengthened when I saw him vote soup in an opportunistic manner. My read didn't really change from there as he wasn't really doing much until the SOUP CLAIM page. I thought it was odd he was using my numbers question to force a team of Soup and myself. #HBC | marshy In your #258 you ask Gorf about Ryker and Spak. What was your conclusion from that answer of his? What's your take on Gorf and Spak?
this was me saying gamsahabnida seonsaengnim into my phoneCom sap meatus album nam
So if I have this correct, you are lynching me on the premise I would be playing better if I was town?I am incredibly confident. I can be wrong, which is why I need the flip before I start acting like I have connections that aren't established. However Soup's play is absolutely disgusting and the only reason to keep him around is WIFOM that assumes him to be complete dog ****.
i interpreted kary's policy lynch on soup to mean "if you're going to be highly dramatic in this manner we should lynch you on principle"
I thought it showed a lack of desire to scumhunt. Thought it was also odd that he went from wanting to end RVS to going back to a silly vote.what was it specifically about lore moving his vote in rvs that was scummy?
So let's just say that I have ascended for the night and am not sober. Bear that in mind for this next post.dude a 3 monitor setup would help with note taking SOOOOO ****ing much
im mind****edSo let's just say that I have ascended for the night and am not sober. Bear that in mind for this next post.
But did you think Tom's picture was 3 monitors, inspiring this post? Because I did.
ive transcended in order to finish these notestwo curved 32s will do that to you
im sober because i wanted to force myself to finish these notes
why didnt marshys vote change (#60) throw you off compared to lores (#74)I thought it showed a lack of desire to scumhunt. Thought it was also odd that he went from wanting to end RVS to going back to a silly vote.
