On the top of my head...

Scorpion - MK is banned in Japan so I would be surprised if Nintendo actually chose him.

A Pokemon that isn't from Gen 8 - They always choose a Pokemon from the newest region so I would be surprised by this unless it coincides with something like a Diamond/Pearl remake.

Spyro - As much as I adore this guy, he is not getting in before Crash.

A Sony character - No explanation needed

Crypto - My ultimate pipe dream character. Not going to happen but man it would be the biggest pleasant surprise for me.

In terms of being impossible? Any 4th party character.

In terms of realistically happening? Geno. If he isn't next, than I believe he will probably be last. People have been demanding him for years and he is one of the last major Brawl requests that isn't in yet so I think it's Geno's time. Not just because of this, but because of all the evidence piled up in Polarthief 's list in my signature.

Crash (don't think he's coming now, he would have been revealed like two fighter packs ago), Gunvolt (too niche, due to him being an indie), Bandanna Dee and Dixie Kong (first party characters are out focus in DLC, minus the likes of relevant new faces like Byleth, Pyra and Min Min). im not gonna mention characters that are ATs because i don't wanna get depressed.

If im honest, i don't want to sound selfish, outside of PP, Joker and Sephiroth, i have no real issue with most DLC choices, i just don't care too much about them, and none of them outside of Banjo made me real excited. I mean im now intersted in playing more KoF and DQ, but im not into playing Terry and Hero in Smash that much

I just have a pessimistic view regarding Smash choices, but im okay with that since i got Simon,K. Rool and Ridley in the base game which was a ****ing miracle all things considered.

Not that I want her or anything, just she's the most unlikely character I could think of. Obscure even for her own series, lost in a sea of other potential Sonic reps (including a much cooler echidna), and wrapped up in more legal issues than you could wave a Master Emerald at.
