Last time she was in conquest all I saw was Reflect and Auto Reticle spam. Now I'm seeing real punishes and reads.

Anyone else seeing a strange recurrence of good Palutena players online? I took a week off, and my first real For Glory session since then I've fought 4 very competent players - when before there were absolutely none.

If you are a Palutena main and fought a player with the tag TPAIN, Good games.

Im very glad people are now waking up and utilizing palu better, as i mained her since day 1, her SH aerials are really good for wall/zone, and if she gets a grab you will be combed. Oh and her uair is the best thing ever. Again glad im seeing some good ones other than myself so you arent the only one m8

GGS to I believe his name was Mrzelda. He obv tried to CP me but when im good with 3/4s of the roster (i like isais style so i do it too) you couldnt really get good footing, then my kirby came and you left, ggs tho. You should have stuck to zelda, if you can stop abusin obvs up-bs youd be golden bro.

The pro-customs movement seems to have boosted Palutena's popularity. Even in a non-customs environment, people are showing what she's capable of~

Which reminds me, I'm always happy to see low-tier / underrepresented characters like Palutena and Junior played well. Does my soul good~

Good games to Nhauste who used Ike and Link, Rhawrzy who uses Palutena and Pit, and Naru who used Peach! You were all amazing and I really enjoyed every match. I was the Marth, Zelda and Dark Pit with the tag Matsu.

GGS to all the peeps i played today, like tiki or something, thats how I imagined it sounded, the way she spelt it was werid tho.

Was an awesome time with all the random peeps i found except for triangle eye, (he had a actual triangle symbol in the middle.) my kirby beat his megaman like it was nothing, and then he rage quits when his ness couldnt touch my Rosaluma. Then he starts johning about lag when im pretty sure you couldnt do your Z drops, pivots, zone lemons, etc. if there was. ive seen it all man and i know to beat it, there was no lag you just ran into a good player that isnt impressed by your mega tech hes seen 1000 times already. Please be a good sport next time instead of flaming me with inaccurate tags.

So, I just played for like two hours on 3DS with someone named Teshi (written in katakana). I kind of have my doubts they'd be posting on Smashboards, but I just wanted to say... THANK you for the amazingly fun games. It was great to play someone so evenly matched and who was just as much of a good sport. Keep on truckin', man!

Fought an really good Jigglypuff player by the name of Brando. Thanks for the fun match! I don't see many good Jiggs in For Glory, so the MU experience was great. I wasn't aware of Jiggs having such good aerial priority during attacking, which I probably wouldn't have learned online if it wasn't for his aggressive playstyle.

It also reminds me that I need more mirror MU experience, as the few Ikes I find in For Glory never know what they are doing and He wasn't one of them. I'm sure fighting the inexperienced has taught me some bad habits fighting them, and I only got one match with Brando's Ike before we were done for the night. Next time we meet, I hope to give as good of a fight against his Ike as I was able to do for his Jiggs.
