all i can say is Holy s*** that pacman was crazy....

he won more matches then me sadly, and two stocked me a couple times, but least I got in one match where I two stocked him back. a couple of the matches I lost were due to me doing something ridiculously stupid, some of which cost me a stock at below 50% :<

About a day or two ago I played against a player who used Yellow Yoshi a lot. We had about 10 games. My Smash 3ds name is Aaron and I use Link almost all of the time. So if you fought someone with that name who used Link a lot then that was most likely me.

Best Link I've seen. I'm actually super glad that I was able to make it 50/50 with my Zelda.

But damn, Link really didn't usurped his title of "Grasshoper" from Majora's Mask.

This guy named Six who played Iggy. I was Palutena at first and you changed your characters a bit at first too but then I just stayed Jigglypuff and you stayed Iggy for like 3 matches til you left. My tag is Debby. Man I would like to fight that guy again, lol.

Just played two rounds with a Sonic main. He/You beat me pretty quickly in match 1. Match 2 I adapted and made more of an effort to read moves, which dragged the match out to a close, 4ish minute bout with you still winning after what I'll freely admit was a very well played finish.

Get back to the main menu, you throw up "FUC U" and leave.

You're a great player, and I was glad to have gotten in a session with someone of your skill level...until that last moment. If you ever read this, all I have to say is this: Grow up. Seriously.

.... I don't mind getting outplayed by someone, but he started to get really cocky about each win taunting and teabagging every chance he got. Still not much I could do to him, as much as I tried he seemed to know the link and falcon matchup like the back of his hand, whereas I had never faced a serious koopaling player until him.

meh...oh well least he chose iggy and not the far more annoying bowser jr. seriously I despise the character bowser jr with a passion, i feel he's the most annoying character ever created by nintendo. Not his moveset smash bros wise, just the character itself in general ever since his first appearance in mario sunshine. i am just glad they gave us the original koopalings as well.

you see this is why i wish nintendo would either make it impossible to change your name tag on the wii u version, just go by your nnid only as your name in random wifi, or give us the option to report players at other than just the results screen.

Sadly the wii U version is filled with poor sports like that turd you jut described, and sadly there is not much you can do about it but try to ignore em....

[3DS] Good games to a Dimitri from France just now. Probably best heavyweight user I've seen on FG in recent memory. Would of played a few more but I ran out of replay space.

Also played this Wario a week ago with the tag Alchecho. Great Wario dude. Beat me with quite some style! Good to see people use him online that isnt just spamming the bike and hoping it'll work.

Indeed. I rarely get a challenge on For Glory. At first I thought you were some random Charizard, but when I saw you Dair spike my Aether, **** got real. I knew I was up against someone fierce, so that's when I knew I was finally fighting a match.

I know it's late, but GG's to this one Japanese Lucario player a few days ago. I must say, you are very good at being the pest that won't die.

Seriously though, I can respect any player who, upon getting meteored by Donkey Kong at 160% damage, will DI towards the wall, tech off it, and cling to it in order to recover. I wish we could have had more than one match, though.

Yeah, he actually was cocky, I am pretty sure I remembered seeing him taunt a few times too. Such a small world! Does anyone know this Six dude! Lol. And yeah I've never fought a good koopaling character either, until him, but I almost beat him the match before he left so I was definitely getting better and improving on that matchup against good koopalings players. Maybe he was scared I was about to beat him lol. I was the lightest character but we both had 2 stock and I got him to almost 80% and he got me to a bit above 100% when I believe the 1st match as Iggy he 2 stocked me, then the next one I got a stock off, then I think the last one I killed him first and ended up dying at about 150% and got him to about 90%. But I honestly do think the sounds the koopalings make are taunty enough (but mainly annoying) as you fight 'em, lol. I was playing the 3DS version though, were you too?

I realize my tags were much worse but the difference is that I was triggered into rage while you were just flat out being cocky in order to increase my anger. I liked the mix-ups that you had but I just can't respect someone that craps on my self-esteem when they win, and treats their losses as nothing but a fluke. We both need improvement, really. You have bad sportsmanship while I use xenophobic slurs when enraged. We're not perfect.

(3DS) Just had an amazing hour of doubles matches with three other villagers named Jose, TheToast, and Meagan. So many trees. So many little dances. I was the pink villager named "Zach~" , it was a shame that we DC'd. That was the most fun I've had on for glory in a long while.

I once had a similar match except it wasn't doubles, though I went in to see everyone was a fire emblem character lol. Kinda brings back some memories of Brawl online, because people played it for fun ususally, not to win lol.

The entire match was pretty much baiting out trees. At one point we timed out the match by bouncing a tree around 10 times, it was tense. Other times we just taunted.

I seriously think tags should not be displayed public online play. Like you can choose yours if you have different controls, but not showing them to opponents would prevent this garbage.

Don't blame others for exacerbating the issue when you're starting it. If you aren't respectful of others, they won't be respectful of you.

On today's For Glory action was the first time I fought a somewhat decent Duck Hunt user, although all he did was spam Clay Pigeons, Trick Shot, side smashes and rolling. He didn't really put up a good fight but it was still fun.

And I would like to gives some shout outs to "CT-Combo" (...I think that was his tag, it was something like that) and "Joe" for their awesome performance. Would love to play y'all again sometime.

Pretty much what @ Wintropy and @ Sean² a.k.a. T-Pain just said. Plus, if you don't have anything positive to say just cuz the people you played against were being complete total asses towards you, then you shouldn't be in this thread at all. There's always gonna be one of those who just takes this way too seriously and there ain't **** we can do about it but just ignore them. They'll never learn.

I've noticed it too, especially on the 3ds version. The last few days I played, I went up against at least one player each day who used Palutena, and with the exception of maybe one or two of them, most of them seemed to know what they were doing.

I don't know why so many people have taken such an interest in her, but I'm not complaining.

I don't think that's it. Last time she was one of the conquest characters, barely anybody touched her. She also has a pretty high learning curve due to how unforgiving she is towards mistakes, so if people are starting to play her well, then it is likely that they have been working on her for at least a couple of weeks.

It's very different, though. These players are actually very good at utilizing her strengths and minimizing her weaknesses (which, no offense to mains of this character, are pretty glaring). Last time she was in conquest all I saw was Reflect and Auto Reticle spam. Now I'm seeing real punishes and reads.
