ROFLMAOWhy do you have a picture of Azen holding a wiimote?
Who said I played with a keyboard?smash64 is awkward with a keyboard, isnt it?
Nice vids man. I see that your Sheik has improved...You guys wanna see my shiek for -real-
Hmm well, it's probably going to be sum rough competition since almost every1 from the PR is goin to be there... It's been a while since I've actually played the game because of school and stuff. But, I'm on vacation starting today, so I guess I'll have a lil' bit of time to get back into tourney shape haha.I don't have a lift there, or any details other than its may 12th and its in O-town.
If I can get a lift and some money from my dad Ill go since its on a saturday. Itll be good for the experience but I think despite my improvements Im still gonna rank badly, dunno though Id love to compete in a tourney again.
Ill talk to Damax see if he has space in the car, if not Ill ask around the MTL thread for anyone who can offer me a space for the drive.
What are you talking about, it's exactly like kirby's fair, and similar to link's/YL's u-smash. Sakurai is just making more moves like that (judging from the trailer, which is really old at this point).like when Meta-Knight comes into his part and he does like that triple sword slash thing it doesn't look much like Melee to me.
How noobish is that? That's like me saying I want them to keep BxR for Halo 3. Or that I didn't want them to make moves lag as much when they first made SSBM. It's stupid to NOT want a sequel to make changes. I mean, who wants a totally new game that's exactly the same as the old game.Wavedashing we gotta keep it's my favorite way to combo and without it I'm pretty useless.
Actually, his Usmash is identical to Kirby's if I remember correctly.AxemRed said:What are you talking about, it's exactly like kirby's fair, and similar to link's/YL's u-smash. Sakurai is just making more moves like that (judging from the trailer, which is really old at this point).
Here's my take. If you can win without abusing the faults of a game engine, then you won't fail when those faults are fixed. And if the faults are fixed, it means that they messed with gameplay. How is it broken? Because it's not a 'dail a combo' game like Mortal Komat [crappy series]? You make WDing sound like it wins games, it doesn't. It's been said 100s of times, WDing is just a way to move without running [which has lag] or rolling [which is predictable].
If anything SSBB's comboing looks broken. You can't even DI out of Pit's/metaknight's combos.
Yay I feel loved!..And BDawg, you've garnered some respect from me...
How can you say Melee is perfection? I mean, we all thought SSB was perfection before melee came out. Or was that just me? (Again to bring a Halo reference to a Smash board) I remember everyone saying Halo 2 was for noobs because they noob-ed everything up. But when good players took the stage it was actually much more balanced than Halo. So just trust that Brawl will be an improvement.Dude, I would just like to say that they can't improve perfection. Nintendo needs to stop trying to make the fun for little 4 years olds, and get some games out there for guys like us. The sun will shine a little darker the day that nintendo craps up the perfect game.
The big advantage that Smash Bros. has over fighters is that they're will never be zero to death combos... because of stocks.By the way, by "broken" I mean that 0-to-death combos are common.
