Which is your worst character?

Puff was my main for a while, but I recently have gotten worse with her, probably because I am focusing on Falco more.

A lot of people have Puff as their worst S tier character, including me. That's funny.

That's because Fox and Falco are clones and the most popular characters iirc. (At least I believe Fox is, and Falco being his clone isn't hard to pick up as a Fox player.) Sheik is simple/easy to pick up, too.

ICs can't do their grabs and it feels like babysitting having to my significant other all the time. Other then that I can probably play somewhat with anyone else.

I still maintain that Kirby is the worst character in the game, worse than Pichu, regardless of how good I am with him. Yoshi as a character is streets ahead of Kirby.

I just hate playing Yoshi in this game. The way he moves, the way he feels, his recovery, his aerials, his smashes, all characteristics inherent to his playstyle are unpleasant to me and I would never make a conscious decision to pick him for any reason.

I don't dislike people who play him, he is just very much not for me.

Pika has better tournament performances than most characters in this game. I think his only weakness is the low damage most of his attacks have.

Obviously he's not fox/falco/puff/marth/sheik/peach/falcon/IC/ganon/samus. I'd say he's about the same as doc and def better than everyone else. I think pika has had better success than ganon/samus if you only look at the top few (Axe, Chad, Anther, Chu, Azen, Tope), but after them it drops off quite a bit which could be due to how great of players they are in general rather than character.

:/ I'm surprised someone looked back and said something about my comment. Being a pikachu main myself I was never serious about that comment, it just surprised me when someone actually said pikachu is legit, due to the sheer fact that you will never see more then one good active pikachu player at a time, currently axe being in that spot. And as you said I think the players who did use the characters were due to themselves and not the characters. I also don't think overall that pika has had more success when there is only one tournament winning pikachu out there when you have multiple ganons/samus such as kage, linguini, chad, and all those random samus players who are good.

Also breh, when you realize how short and stubby pikachus arms(and body) are you'll see what his real weaknesses are ;D

Only Axe did better than those characters you mentioned and players you mentioned. Pika other than that definitely gets outplaced more in general.

I don't know how people do it, but I CANNOT play Jiggs. I try to get the hang of that thing but it just feels incredibly bad to me. I mean, her physics aren't bad, I know that and it's been proven, but damn, that balloon just wasn't made for me.

I started playing Melee a few days ago, and I've only tried Falco, Fox, Marth and Ice Climbers. I'd say Marth and Ice Climbers are currently tied for my worst, simply because I have some experience with Fox and Falco's playstyle from SSB64 Fox.....
