Link; I start out just zoning projectiles. If you make a mistake, I'll punish and keep zoning. Otherwise, I look for habits to exploit and start playing more aggressive as I exploit them.

I main Marth. And I play aggresively. Very aggresively. Far too agressively, actually: my mind games are terrible, and as a Marth mainer, my spacing should be a lot better. I'm all about coming in from the air with L-cancels and FSmashing after that, tech-chasing/waiting*, dash-grabs (I'm practicing to turn these into Jump-cancels). I also get some guilty pleasure in with chaining dash attacks, or doing the classic scrubby DashSmash combo.

*Tech-waiting is a term I coined for when your opponent is teching in place, your spacing is good enough, and thus you just wait to continue the combo, as opposed to hitting into their tech and getting ****ed. My classic situation is upThrow at lowish percentages, opponent techs, I wait out the tech, forward smash.

Oh yeah, and if I'm displaying emotion during a match, you are doing really, really well. Before I was into competitive play, I got pissed all the time because I main Link, and, well, Link ****ing sucks. I still intensely dislike some things about Marth (I can hit with Dolphin Slash and recover, and my vulnerability frames are STILL long enough for a Fox to recover and kill me? The ****!), but I try to keep silent during a match so I don't end up being a whiny *****. You'll hear some silent Johning sometimes thugh (usually because I am trying desperately to get out a Guard, and it takes to long to get out to be an instant-reaction move.)

On another note, Im really aggressive with all my characters, which sometimes gets me ****ed over when playing Ganon's and Link's..

I laser a lot with my Falco, and shine to Uair which I need to stop
My Marth has good spacing but very poor shield pressure.
The only none aggressive player I use is Mewtwo... Maybe Mario...

I try to make play aggressive in spurts and then maintain space. Unless I'm in idgaf(I don't give a ****) mode.

i really like those characters for the same reason chu does: they're viable but hardly anyone else uses them

what i generally do is pick Fox, try to be over aggressive(similar to mango), realize i don't have good confidence due to my average tech skill, then get wrecked.
