There's a girl. I want to ask her out, but I'm very shy and influential to friends. What do?

Yea, easily persuaded. I do spend a lot of time with her. I'm in the drumline and she's in the colorguard, it kind of goes hand in hand. It wasn't meant to be a blog per say but it wouldn't fit anywhere else.

Oh, I see. Well that's the thing, drumline-guard relationships happen all the time too as we get along since we do essentially the same thing. I just don't know if I should ask her. Due to my own ******** nature, I take into consideration what my friends think before what I think.

Ask her out in some crazy way like get tons of goldfish put them in a mini swimmingpull and have one beta fish. Then you leave a note saying out of all the fish in the sea your one in a million. Will you go out with me?

Don't do that. Just ask her to hang out after school (or band or whatever) on a tuesday, wednesday, or Thursday. That way her ******** friends have less of a chance of interfering. Ask her casually during band, try not to plan it in advance.

This is crazy. My mind's going a million miles per hour when I think about this girl. She's really cool and it's silly how much I like her but there's a catch. I'm shy. 2-Regardless of how you do it, don't be awkward, it's better to be straight to the point and just straight up ask it in the most unromantic way possible than to choke up and look silly.

simple answer: You ask her out


More complex answer... be serious if she cares about how spectacularly you ask her out then she's not worth it.. for example there are 4 possibilities.. she is the right person, she isn't the right person, and you just go ahead and ask her out, or you make a massive effort to impress her when asking her out


1. she isn't right for you and you don't bother making too much effort: well she'll probs say no, but she's not right for you anyway.

2. she isn't right for you and you make loads of effort: she DOES say yes, but then you can't keep this effort up forever so in the end it doesnt work out.. not really worth it AND she's not right for you

3 she IS right for you and you dont make a massive effort: she likes you, she goes out with you and you've got a very good starting pont as you're confortable in the relationship..

4 she IS right for you and you do make huge amounts of effort, she still says yes but all that effort is wasted and as you have impressed her once whe'll probably be expecting similar things all the time...


OBVIOUSLY option 3 is the best (it would have looked better in a table) but we can see that you are definately better off bit wasting loads of effort on her.
