whahaaaaaat

I'm so confused now

I don't even know

what things used to be called

or what they are now

or how to play sonic

but I think the OP is something of a recipe, or a cookbook.

so I'm totally getting a bbq.

Faster in what way?

I know for a fact if you mean momentum-canceling, then yes.

Down-B also sets up for more offensive combos, while Side-B although rarely used for, it probably better for defensive/reactive/punishing combos.

actually, if after the hop, at max level, side B looks faster to me than Down B.
What exactly do you mean by this? ASC vs. ASD (like their aerial movement)? Or the SDR you get from each of them at different amounts of charge? Or something else?

...There's a hot chick in there?

I was too busy drooling over the Steak sauce.

But yeah seriously please don't post what you think unless it actually contributes, we really couldn't care less whether or not some random people don't want to learn or not.

Was iSDJ ever called a Grounded Spin Shot before?
People have mistakened and called it spinshot for who knows how long lol.

they'd be like "yeah, i like doing spinshots with down b on the ground. it's easier and goes further than the side b one"

..

Also, before anyone makes this misteak...

ISDJ = Instant Spindash Jump

iSDR = Invincible Spindash Roll

iSDJ = don exits

>_>

well it's precisely for that reason that it doesn't matter if you say ISDJ/iSDJ or ISDR/iSDR - they don't interchange at all lol

yeah, but the lowercase "i" just makes things so **** confusing...lol, seeing as we've had many conversations saying that i was invincible, and I was instant. Then we had people that were like DOES IT MATTER?!?!?!? and it's just confusing >_>

spin dash/spin charge cancels make sonic so much more unpredictable. During fighting I cancel into grabs, dash attacks, usmashes, rolling, more cancels(XD mindgames). My favorite part about them is that Sonic has so many options with his spin attacks. Cancels own.

They're good, but if you mentally commit to cancelling, they have weaknesses to certain moves:

ASC shield cancel <<< direct aerial attack/land camp grab.
Side-B shield cancel <<< grab

I only find ASC cancels to take effect when you actually spam ASC. If you keep pressuring their shields with ASC, then randomly toss in ASC>SC>Grab, they won't see it coming.

If you only ever use ASCSC and no direct ASC, they'll just start grabbing YOU XD

Agreed. That's why it's up to the Sonic player to mix up their game, cause if they are predictable, they will get punished.

We're already getting punished for choosing a bad character.

:D
QFT

Being unpredictable at all times just means LESS punishing will be taking place xD
