Hmm.. tha't one heck of a list you have there, all I own is:

Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt
Metroid

I always wanted to get the Metal Gear game that came out for it, though the lack of time on my hands prevents me from doing so

Well, I don't have an NES or any games yet -- but if it counts at all, I will be buying one from a friend shortly, and with it I will be getting...

  • Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt
  • Tecmo Bowl
  • Flying Warriors
  • Castlevania
  • Super Mario Bros. 2

Although my friend did say that he may end up switching another game out for Flying Warriors. I will also be buying Metroid shortly after I get my NES since it is the last game of the Metroid series I do not own -- and the Metroid series is probably my favorite.

Yeah, as Eternal Yoshi said, the first six were released only in Japan. So first of all, you'd have to import it from Japan. After that, the NES is region locked -- as are all Nintendo's, and I think all companies', consoles. So you would likely end up importing a Famicom, too. If you don't do that, you'd have to A) Know how to remove a region lock from an NES and have the materials to do so, B) Know someone who can remove a region lock for you, or C) Buy one with it removed right off the bat. And once you do all of that, you need to be able to read Japanese or somehow decipher patterns or something in order to actually play the game efficiently.

So yeah, it's not entirely surprising that no one owns Fire Emblem. As much as I'd like to, it'd be useless because I'd never be able to play it efficiently.

Oh, and I have my NES now, so my previous list is factual now.
