ACtually, Deoxys ranks higher than Blazekein in terms of popularity in most of the avid and intelligent people on the Pokemon threads opinions. But ya, Lucario, Deoxys, and then Blazekein are the 3 most desired newcomer Pokemon, for sure!

Edit: I'm all for Deoxys (not a fanboy), and I support him for Brawl. Anyways, Black Shadow is the main villian in F-Zero G/X, and does lame posing all day long like the Ginyu Force in DBZ, minus the funny. He's made by Sega pretty much, that says it all. He makes Shadow looks cool, YA that's sad, depressiong actually.

Well, they did have that 15 secound thing, but that isn't nearly enough for a trailor.

If Tom Nook isn't in, then Blathers is probably the second most important. But if Tom isn't in I probably wouldn't expect another character.

Don't forget that there is more than one Tom Nook. If you travel to another town, there is another Tom Nook. While you never see two Tom Nooks in one place, it's still possible in Brawl.

The one thing this made me worried about is that if Tom isn't in the game, I can't see Nintendo getting together 45+ good character choices. Goroh and Nook were both acceptable, and now that they are supposedly not in, Nintendo is running out of valid characters. It is possible that the Assist Trophies are gonna knock out a few more of are other choices (Ridley, Olimar, Diddy) and if they are cut, this game will have around 40 solid at the most.

Don't screw up Sakurai.

also characters are getting cut and clones will be few to none making a smaller number seem larger due to originality

I mean one with newcomers, returnies, etc. like the first two. That wa good, but the E3 2006 one and Nintendo World Trailers were super awsome! E3 trailer<NW trailer< a possible E3 2007 trailer<WW Link, Megaman, Sonic and Diddy Kong confirmed<a E3 2007 trailer confirming Diddy Kong, WW Link, Sonic, and Megaman, but with all the other footage that would be in it without them+the new awsome footage.

did you read my post sakurai specifically stated that the character increase will be less then 64 to melee

also there using a new engine so making a character like mario is taking a bit more time

third nintendo was pressed for characters in melee causing clones it was supposed to be less in melee

i read that one clone takes 1/3 the time to make then a real character

there were six clones (luigi escaped that area barely) in melee

therefore 25-6+2=21 that is the amount of characters they intended it to be

that would be a 9 character increase from 64 to melee so 15 characters is asking a pretty large amount

(yet again i know too many facts)

Think about it though—44 to 46 is A LOT. I used to kind of have the same mindset, but now I'm comfy with around 35+. But I realized that was because I was already starting to count the 26 from Melee as "non-characters". I was so focused on the new characters that I forgot about all the great characters I'm already going to have to pick from.

44-46 worthwhile characters is asking a lot. Though, I'd certainly be the last to complain if that happened.
