Now that right thur sounds like the Del Money & gang I know.Cant hurt to not say a single word to people like that.Well we sorta need to talk about them. If we just take the beating, it will be worse in the long run. We just need to keep the mods on altert that this thread, the Brawl info thread, and Tnga's thread are prime targets. Those mother f***ers suck, but let's just rant later, and ingnore them now.We need to just keep marking their posts as spam repeatidly, put them on ignore, and do that with the next time they make a new account.
And we got to keep the mods informed that this thread [***what's going on with smashbros.com***], Tnga's thread [Who else is nervous about Brawl potentially sucking?], and the Official Brawl Info thread are the 3 biggest targets. Soon enough, we'll IP ban so many of them, that they'll have little, if any access to these baords. Don't worry, once we all stop responding to them they'll leave.

I think Metaknight will be a secret character along with Snake. It makes sense because it seems that Metaknight might be a main villain in the storymode (at least for some of it). Therefore, beating him in storymode would be a great way to unlock him.
What is my point?
I will tell you. Metaknight seems like he would be the first unlockable character revealed on the site (because we know he is in the game). So I think that once Metaknight is revealed or Snake (whichever one is revealed first) that means that the starting roster has already been fully revealed.

True, on the Meta Knight thing...But I still have a feeling he won't show any other unlockables (Snake) until after release, Meta Knight could be a good exception though and possibly the indication when the SR is full

It took me Del and Jables FOREVER to get people to shut up when spammers popped up and flame. Ignore them, and if that doesn't work BASH THEM for a few hours then they leave.Now that right thur sounds like the Del Money & gang I know.Cant hurt to not say a single word to people like that.

Sakurai already confirmed that all new characters will not be in the starting roster a while back. I just hope that characters don't take too long to unlock though, during winter break my best smasher friends are coming over and staying the night for a few days.
Agreed! I've been suggesting MK as a secret character for awhile, and the Subspace Emissary trailer seems to give it some more weight. Glad to see that we think the same way.
As for tonight, these are the probable updates that I would LIKE to see, in order of preference:
1) PEACH!
2) Skyworld Music
3) Peach Special Moves / Final Smash (if Peach is tonight)
4) Pit Special Moves 2 / Final Smash
5) Animal Crossing Character (Tom Nook? Totakeke? Mr. Resetti?)
6) Zelda Special Moves / Final Smash
7) Ness / Ice Climbers
8) Mario Circuit
9) Zelda Stage that features the OoT medley (if not Bridge of Eldin)
10) Metroid Stage
QFT. everyone make sure you do this... dont stay or you WILL most likely throw up, i came pretty close yesterday and i dont think the mods have had a chance to clean up those pages yet either, so i strongly recommend you all save discussion about tonights update for tomorrow and keep doing that until the spam subsides
i dunno...i think the story mode for every character will take a significantly long amount of time. Sakurai is shooting for a single player mode thatll get lots of kudos in the value/replayability department.

I kinda knew that it would be a useless update since the last once pwned all... I'm thinking that they would take a break from the awesome updates since they don't want to show all of the good updates way too fast... it would make people expect good updates.
anyway, I think it's kinda good that they show up the new items rather then were wondering what each item does so we don't waste our time trying to figure out what every item does... although most people wont use item in tournaments, it's best to know what were going to be using during the adventure mode.

True true true on all accounts...They need something cool for the last month of hype to build on and...This makes the next update (Yoshi SM) that much sweeter. I actually expected muzak because that would calm things a little. Smoke bombs cool and update worthy. Everyone was just expecting PEACH!!!

I think they should confirm the boss of the game, other than master hand. Maybe something like CAPTAIN HOOK lol. I think in adventure mode every character needs a different boss.

true, seeing as we'll probably need adventure mode to unlock characters anyways. might as well know how to use the items to beat that adventure modes more efficiently
