Because ads are obnoxious and one of the large benefits of Classic Blue/Smash Blue was a lack of ads.

Also, it's annoying that our skins are temporarily down so that they can make them worse (although if there's an improvement/addition of skins going on as well and that's why they're down, I take that back).

Someone may have to explain how to get this amazing adblocking combo on Firefox that everyone seems to have, though...I hear people who use Revolution saying "What ads?" when people mention them, but I haven't been able to find a way to block out all that crap.

Click the down arrow on the ABP button. Scroll down until you find three things from mlgpro.com. Just block the two scripts and the image (optional) and refresh. After that, it's gone forevers.

ABP = Ad Block Plus.

If Firefox is your web browser, you can install that as an add-on, and that allows you to block scripts, thereby eliminating ads.

I didn't fix it until AFTER I said what I quoted. Also, what I quoted had nothing to do with how annoying the ads are, but rather how annoying it is that people say that you can't complain about ads just because they support the site.

And to be fair, when you have to stare at the increasingly less relevant Evony ads, banners can be quite annoying. =P
