Asking for a friend, in this case the friend left school due to it, and the school didn't do enough to stop it. Is there some sort of action that could be taken?

You teach? Nice what grade / subject. I was an English major but quickly decided against teaching here in Mississippi when during the interview I learned they don't teach "whole books" on the regular but rather excerpts I'm like uhhh thank you for time!As a teacher, I would need more context. That aside, I will say the school is probably doing things to combat the situation. It's just that things aren't always easily noticeable.
Normally a faculty member will speak to the parents but these days people can be very litigious especially when it involves children. But if hey knock it off doesn't work it could lead all the way to expulsion especially if one is a stalker type.Student/Student. Maryland in the U.S.
