Yea the team builder was messed up when the server move occurred and it never got fixed in order to dedicate resources to finishing SB2.

Here's my tip, if you download a pokemon off of Smogon, make sure nothing ****ed up and only gave your pokemon one attack. Arguably, he's dead weight anyway, but him only having Overheat (wtf?) really ****ed me over. I played awful anyway, I got to start playing more often to recognize when I'll be OHKOed. I tried Lead Starmie for the first time tonight and loved it, but got OHKOed by Lead Rose. Guess next time I'll make sure to get decent play time with my pokemon first hand.

Yeah, the Mewtwo I had ended up having only Taunt. I didn't use him vs you, though. And yeah, play experience definitely helped. I went from, memorizing important Pkmn's base stats, then the stat formula, and then the damage formula. It's nice when you're on the go, but at a computer, you could just keep a smogon tab and damage calc tab open. Timed battles does make this somewhat difficult if you're not fast with computers... alt+tab to scroll through tasks and ctrl+1-9 to scroll through tabs.

I'll be on the CaP server if anyone else wants to chill with me+catch up on old times :D

I liked playing OUbers, despite my Uber doing nothing in both games (first for not using it, second from finding out it only knew Taunt).

I can't think of too many themes, but here's my shot.
OU, you may only use attacks that have 5 PP (8 after PPMax)
10 (16) if ppl dont like 5.

edit: or a pokemon that dont evolve tourney. I've wanted to see some more zapdos and regice for a while now

Random Style 2- Play with Random Clause: OHKO Clause, Species Clause, and Evasion Clause are all off. Additionally, Extended Clause is on.
OUbers- One Uber pokemon is allowed on your team.
Short PP- Only 5/10 PP moves allowed! Disabled PP-ups ensure that you are wise in selecting your move choices.
Single Stage- Pokemon that evolve or have evolved can NOT be used.
Crystal Cup- Only moves from GSC allowed(I can't remember the rest).
Choice Tournament- All pokemon must be equipped with a choice item.
