All things considered I didn't enjoy Earthbound as much as Mother 3, but I generally can't get in to RPGs anymore. For me Earthbound was just:
That's really cool! Is there a Mother 3 character sprite generator you used or did you make that yourself in photoshop?What about something like this, with different sprites and backgrounds and flavors for each contributor? (just a rough draft, sizes and things will be better if we do this)
Or we could stylize them to jazz them up a bit, like this.
I could do the backgrounds and compile them and such, but I may not be able to make everyone a sprite due to schedules and things; that might be a thing each person needs to do for themselves. But we can make it a team effort! What do you think?

I made it myself in Gimp (a freeware Photoshop substitute), using bits and pieces of sprites from the game. The best part is it's not too difficult once you get the hang of it!

Oh! I had thought there would be title cards, Smash Bros. introduction style. It looked that way from the previous discussion. The way I pictured it, each would be shown for like a second, maybe with the sprite doing a quick animation or something. Then perhaps we could have the sprite in the corner while their clip plays.Jesus Christ that was amazing. I loved that so much! I'm so impressed wowowoowowow

I kind of like this idea.
I feel like during the majority of the video it should just have the player's tag in the corner. But like picture this. Lets say that the video starts off with a collection of your combos, like five or six of them. But before we show your first play we introduce you as a player. Have your tag, location, and favorite thing on the intro shot, and for content like some fanart of Ness. Everyone would have a different fanart of Ness, edited to fit the outfit they use. And then o nthis intro shot like in the background we can have one of that person's plays playing but blurred out and behind a translucent color.
The inspiration would be like how characters are introduced in Smash trailers:

I feel the same way about certain replays. I did some awesome things on my friend's Sonic offline, but it was on his wii, and his Sonic is so annoying >_<
I agree. I think some weren't fortunate enough to have their replays saved on time. I mean, you could go days without updating this game, but then you miss out.
Yeah, everyone keep playing matches and start saving fresh replays. When I want to work on this I want to have at least a 4 day break in between school, or in the summer (Right before Lucas comes out most likely.)

But the videos can only be 3 minutes right? Does that mean if you do a match longer than 3 minutes you can't upload it or will only upload the first 3 minutes or can you choose when to start recording it?
Yeah it says that replays are supposed to be less than 3 minutes. But I uploaded videos that were a bit over 3 minutes, so I'm not sure how strict they are about the time limit. Thankfully all of my matches are fast paced anyways
Yeah. I have a couple really good replays so I hope they will upload properly.
