We Need Crowd Cheers!

Anyone know the exact requirements for the crowd cheers? Or how the same knows what sound to play?
Or a list of sound ID's for the chants?

The goal being to make the crowd chants occur during hype situations, like if someone is over 1 stock up and gets a kill, etc

Yet another instance I was AFK. How do I find the sound ID's again?
I have the Brsar opened in Smashbox V0.57.

BTW, what is the deal with the limit on the length of the sounds...I thought someone figured out brsar format all the way...

Found the SFX ID's in the .pac files.
I really need to get on hacking brsar files so we can use codes to make new SFX ids

I want to make something so that.say....

3 whole days later I have this done.
Here is how the code(s) will work.
Well, first some background info relavent to this thread.

The SFX ID's for the crowd chants are inside the moveset files.
A SFX ID links to a FILE entry in the brsar.
These can be external(brstm) or internal entries.
For a SFX ID not inside the BRSAR, the game ignores it.....

UNTIL NOW.
I have made a code that redirects nonexistant SFX IDs to brstms
ABCD->/sound/sfx/0000ABCD.brstm with my code.
However, I thought of a addon for you guys.
What if I made a code that let you list a bunch of SFX IDs you wanted to override? That way you could just put all those sound ID's into a code in your GCT, and have those SFX ID's redirected to brstms without touching the .pac files.

SO BASICALLY.....
No more time limits, no more hex editing, and easy mix and match of sounds...

I am wondering, not really on topic but if you were to just partition the 4gb into 2gb would that work or is it just limited to not using SDHC.

Word of advice, Rina Chan, try mixing up the stress on some of the syllables. It's not "TABUU!" it's, "TAAAAAABUU!" You did get close with squirtle though, however all of these are just saying the word in an excited tone of voice, which isn't close enough to the shouting that they got going on in brawl.

Also, I don't think it works with only your own voice, it sounds too much like an echo or special effect. See if you can get a crowd of people in real life to help you out. That will probably produce the best results.

I know a number of brawl fans in real life, and one of them is good at sound engineering. If you can't get something closer to the brawl cheers, then I'll see if I can rope them into helping out.

Still, you did a much better job of it than I was expecting, congratulations. You have a very nice clear voice and these are high quality recordings. I think the trouble may be more that you aren't quite suited to matching what the original sound was, which is not your fault.

She seems to have faded, perhaps you could try doing the voices... It'd be sweet if you managed to do them!

If you record it with the timing/emphasis you want, I can rerecord mine to match that... I just took a guess, so you guys have to let me know exactly what you want. :woman:

OK. Just make sure that the length of the cheers match the default one so that it can loop correctly.

I have time limits of much of the characters in the OP.

For the Pokemon Trainer and Tabuu for example: please make sure that the length of the .wav is:

All 3 Pokemon - 1.41 seconds
Tabuu - 1.37 seconds(Because he's over Ganondorf)

Also, the frequency has to be at 16000.

This should ensure easy inserting and looping.

Re-listening to the default Brawl cheers helps with how they loop too. :)

My lens cleaner will be coming in a couple of days. I think a week or two.
