Ok everyone, here's a stage vote for zzz. Vote Starter, Counterpick, or Banned. Stages need a 2/3 (66%) majority to be primarily in that category. If the vote is split (such as 50% Starter 50% Counterpick) then the stage will be in the Starter/Counterpick section.

Notes about Norfair

-6 Ledges
-No auto sweetspot in Brawl+ could change things this time around
-Lava influence like Brinstar
-Fairly wide boundaries and a low blastzone, but not too tall of one

I think it could be a CP with a speedup so the lava waves come more often (they prevent planking), and hopefully we can get rid of the lava pillars too (or at least remove the hitbox from them). For now though, banned.

I think a speed up on a stage with so many hazards would be bad. You have 2 from the side, 3 or 4 from the background out, and then you have that one hazard that fills up the screen. A speed up would cause those to come a lot more often and would be really detrimental to certain characters imo.

Basically, it comes down to if and when we get some kind of anti-planking script done in PSA for this stage to become legal again. I am completely against bringing this back to CP just because planking may be harder to do (due to NASL). It would be learned regardless, it would only take several minutes to get back into the swing of things and then the match is lost to the one who CP'd it.

I'd love to have this as a counterpick. Especially if it was sped up a bit. But in order for that to happen we would need to deal with the planking problem (though I think we should be doing that anyway). Until then, ban.

This stage should really be on our priority lists to salvage. Until then... sadly, banned.

Only way to salvage this stage would make none of the ledges grabbable (which would be really cool actually). This would make it a good stage for characters like Fox and Rob and such, but bad for ledgegrabbers like Mario.

And bad for tethers, which as I recall, was actually a good stage for ZSS in vBrawl.
